Yesterday I had promised winter photos. Well, the amount of snow and weather conditions exceeded my expectations and forecasts. I have only white pictures from today’s hike.
It snowed all day with varied intensity. When we go up to 1200m asl, we basically ploughed thru the snow.
We (5 humans and a dog) did 25km with 1400m of total elevation gain. Normally a good hike, but with the snow and weather, it felt much more. On the other hand, we did the route without pauses - too cold when one stops walking. The elapsed time was 7:30hrs - quite surprised given the conditions. Feels very #AliveAndThriving
