Week 15 of Marathon training.

I started week 15 of my marathon training with an intense 6 x 5 interval session.

It was a solo run so I decided to head down to Blouberg beach 2.5km away from my home for some beautiful scenery.

My legs felt strong but tired at the same time.

Tapering has started and for me that is a very frustrating period. Doing less training makes me anxious but I must remember to trust the process. I have to keep my focus now on not getting injured and fueling my body for raceday.

I look forward to run my second marathon next week on the 16th.
