My Actifit Report Card: October 25 2024

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday was pretty busy because we had a show to go to in the evening. But we couldn't skip our fall colors yard tours. The peak is quite short, so every day is a must!

Le Chat doesn't share this idea though, she actually decided it was more of an indoor kind of day: 'Will you switch off the lights?!?...'

Like I said, we didn't have much time, so as usual when it is the case, we only went to the small forest behind the yard for our daily walk. We weren't even there yet when we saw this cool black squirrel in the distance. It didn't stay long though, when Kaia went after it.

I probably already said that, but the colors at the entrance to that small forest are finally getting beautiful.

The foliage isn't bad either once you go further in.

My imagination often plays tricks on me in this forest. That dying tree looked kinda spooky to me this time, quite fitting with Halloween coming up.

Of course, Kaia was in exploration mode the whole time, so many new scents to catch!

I am pretty sure I already mentioned this fallen tree that provides lots of fun for both Kaia and Le Chat. It took many shots, most of them blurry, before I could finally get one I liked. Kaia was almost getting tired of jumping, she needed an extra step on the tree itself.

Like I said, we had a show to go to in the evening, an opera this time. Yes I know, quite different from some of the metal concerts we went to this summer, but we like it too! It was at the Detroit Opera House, one of my favorites.

The show was La Traviata, and it was pretty good. We're no connoisseur, we just enjoy the fun shows.

And that was it for this pretty full day. I said in my previous report my step count would stay low and it did. Let's see if I can stay in the #poprzeczka with at least 26k steps on Saturday.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
