Two questions for you.
- Would you buy a robot?
- What is your desired price?
I just watched a video about Tesla's Optimus robot talking about how it can be used in factories and warehouses but also at home and in public. This applies to other companies who are developing human-like robots.
Would You Buy A Robot?
These robots could cook and prepare meals. They can do laundry and fold and put away the clothes. They can assist kids and older people. They can clean the house. Sound good? It does to me.
The home robot now seems like the home computer market of 1977. There were some experimental home computers out there but few had one or wanted one. They did too little and cost too much. 10 years later many people had one. Twenty years later everyone had one.
Would you say no today if you didn't have a computer or smart phone and I asked would you buy one? Everyone has one and you would buy one if yours broke. Same thing is coming with robots in my opinion.
So I just answered the first question for you, in the affirmative! But of course you may not agree and you might answer NO. So tell me why, in the comments.
At What Price?
Ideally I would love a robot that could do all the things this video says they will be able to do, for a price of $2000. I feel that they would be worth it at that price point.
But the video says Optimus might cost 10X that, so $20K. Seems too high for most people but you know that early adopters are going to jump in. Imagine the "robot influencers" that might develop on social media. Someone early to this game could probably monetize their content and recoup that $20K in months.
What happens when #Bitcoin hits $100K or $200K or more? Would you pay 0.05 BTC for a shiny new Robot? I would! I have half of that $20K price just in my Hive account's current value and it could easily 5X in 2025.
So what would you pay for a robot and can you see yourself financing it fairly easily next year when we're in full Bull Market mode and our crypto worth is 2X, 3X, 5X or 10X what it is now?
My Activity
today was breaks where I got up and moved around as I did my work at my desk. At night I took my walk and it was fairly warm for this time of year with temps near 60 degrees Fahrenheit. I also climbed 24 stairs and did some leg exercises.
Have a nice day!
