First Walk on the Silbersee (Silver Lake)
Today I headed out to my first relative short walk on the Silbersee. The Thumbnail is a great painting on the DLRG building, the "Baywatch" department in Germany if you will :o).
It is an abbreviation for Deutsche Lebensrettungs Gesellschaft or German Lifeguard Association.
There were quite a few early birds with me on the lake, anticipating the heat in the afternoon.
Second Walk on the Mittelland Canal
I only wanted to do the first walk on the lake, but I an hour after breakfast, my feet went restless. I had to achieve 10k steps today. I promised myself yesterday before bed, I would finally get to 10k again after the last couple of days, which ranged between 5 and 8k.
I took the route along the Mittelland Canal to the marina, where my cousin and her husband (my good friend @privatblog, who is also a hive user) stayed overnight a couple of weeks ago, when they visited me in Hannover. I finally have to write a blogpost about it. We took so many great pictures on their boat. I even went with them on the last day and took my bike on board. We sailed 20 Km and dropped the anker for a barbecue, before I took off home. When I took the pictures today, I remembered this wonderful day.
