Hong Kong welcomes back an inflatable giant rubber duck for two weeks.
However, this time Hong Kong people and tourists will have the chance to see two rather than one.
Unfortunately, on the first day of opening, 10th June, one of the ducks deflated and could not see the duo together. I have noticed they are trying to fix it, and not sure when they will complete the work and be able to see the two ducks again.
“The Double Ducks is presented by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman”; this pair of rubber ducks are 18-metre tall.
I have seen on the news that some metro stations have been decorated with this theme.
These two giant rubber ducks will be displayed in different locations in Hong Kong, such as Central, Causeway Bay, Tsi Sha Tsui, Choi Hung, Admiralty, etc. This time, I have the chance to see them in Central.
It has been ten years already since the first time came to Hong, and to celebrate the 10th anniversary, they decided the bring 2.
Millions of people will have the chance to see this lovely decoration; I have seen many tourists, specifically from mainland China.
These rubber ducks decorations will be displayed until 24th June.
