August 19 2020 Activity Post

Another busy Wednesday has come and gone. Has anyone seen the dApp called WednesdayClub? It's a social media site where you can only post on Wednesday.

A unique and different idea, kind of out of left field, but intriguing overall.

I have yet to try it.

Anyway, today was a fairly busy one in the Sludge Plant. It turned into a day of cranes and lifting operations in the end.

Shifting giant 720kg bags of polyelectrolyte in the morning, freshly delivered the afternoon prior.

Then it was all hands on deck, or so it seemed, for a lifting operation in the afternoon that was quite out of the ordinary.

At least, it was a first for me. I mostly observed and lead the isolations and hazard management, among the normal daily work.

We have two centrifuges, but we can only use one at a time. So, the decision was made to swap in the spare recentIy, and that process started today.

So that's basically what that looked like.

There was a lot of rain here today as well.

And there's more pelting down as I type this!

Check out these ducks.

I love how comfortable they are.
