Today I embarked on a new adventure. Several dear friends and I loaded our backpacks and equipment into the car and set off for Italy.
We saw the first slopes of the Alps while traveling through Slovenia. Since the road took us not far from Lake Bled, we stopped for a relaxed walk along the lake.
After a couple of hours, we continued our journey. Even though we only covered 900 kilometers, it took us almost 16 hours due to huge trafic jams to finally reach our destination - Val Gardena in the Dolomites.
Of tomorrow the real fun begins 😁
