My Actifit RC: May 26th 23 - An #Alive heath

A dear greeting to all lovers of physical activities that populate the mythical community of Actifit

Today the day seems a bit cloudy but then it will turn out to be very sunny and warm. Summer seems to put a lot of pressure on this spring that tastes like autumn.

This morning I was formatting an old PC that I have to give to a dear friend who needs it.

During the afternoon I went to Naples around 16:30 and I took the Metro line 1, the one that tourists know as Metro of art, destination Museum.

Metro stop that just pops up on Via Foria near the National Archaeological Museum. Before arriving at the museum, on the left, there is an elegant street with buildings of fine architectural workmanship.

As soon as you enter Via Santa Maria Costantinopoli, on the right, there is the church that gives its name to the Via, or the parish of Santa Maria in Constantinople.

This church was erected where the portrait was placed in the center of the altar that dates back to 1400. It depicts Saint Mary of Constantinople who is the Saint who protected the city from the plague. This recently restored painting came out in one of the many renovations of the altar and, as you can see, bears the marks of time.

In this church there is the hand of a portentous binomial Vaccaro-Fanzago. In fact these artists have made works in many churches of the city. Vaccaro here created the stuccoes on the walls while Fanzago created the beautiful polychromatic marble altar.

Here, too, we have a ceiling in carved wood and coffered finely worked in gold.

The church is not the only architectural work of the street. In fact, of great impact is also the Firrao palace made in Baroque style with sculptures by Cosimo Fanzago even if he was not the one to complete the work for disagreements with the noble owners of the palace.

Halfway there is the rear facade of the yellow tuff building of the Academy of Fine Arts founded in 1752.

Today I am celebrating my #iamalivechallenge 357 in an un-sporty way, but also in a cast of this way I enclose an #alive heart.
