August 6 2023 - Out walking again, but somewhere new

I walked again today and again completed 5 km+ and managed to dodge the rain.

I explored a little footpath tha I hadn't notices before. It was reasonably well trodden so people obviously had seem it. I cam across this old turnstile gate, quite strange. Why was this here in this random place on a path off from the main footpath? It must have been for a good purpose once upon a time but there wasn't a fence so we could easily bypass the gate. Strange 🤔
