Ancient foreshortening - watercolors on paper

Hello all dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing an evocative glimpse of my city, which is rich in inspiration for many painters. As you can see it is an alleyway formed by gothic arched doorways and a large round-arched one with light and shadow play and the ever-present cats. I tried to give the painting a serene atmosphere full of soft colors.

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido un suggestivo scorcio della mia città, ricca di spunti per molti pittori. Come potete vedere si tratta di un vicolo formato da portoni ad archi gotici ed uno grande a tutto sesto con giochi di luce e ombra e gli immancabili gatti. Ho cercato di dare al dipinto un'atmosfera serena e ricca di colori tenui.
