Excelente dia para todos, como bien saben las terminas son esenciales para el medio ambiente pero no debemos subestimarlas, a pesar de ser ciegas tienen un buen sentido y detectan todo a su alrededor, son varios los estudios que se le han hecho y no se dejan de nada cuando trabajan unidas, si llegan a un árbol lo van a ir deteriorando poco a poco hasta que este se seque, en varios lugares se llama come gen debido a que crean en la cima una esfera de color negra con su saliba y otros materiales que consiguen del árbol.
Pueden notar en la fotografia como construyen caminos para ellas transitar sin problemas, lo van cerrando como túnel por todo el árbol, así las hormigas y otros insectos no van a interferir con ellas.
Algo que me impresiono y lo presencié fue ver una batalla entre hormigas y estas termitas, todo estuvo a la par en el campo de batalla y la mayoria murió pero sobrevivieron las termitas y continuaron en su construcción, los árboles que más sufren con este pequeño animal son los de tamarindo y pegua que tienen la corteza un poco más blanda y fácil de trabajar, además que que poseen un poco de humedad y son frescos.
Un insecto por más pequeño que sea si trabaja en unión acabará con muchas cosas, todas las maderas de nuestro hogar, como camas, muebles, sillas entre otros si se abandonan ellas se encargarán de comerlas hasta desintegrarse.
Debemos protegerlos de igual manera, pueden ayudar en otras formas al medio ambiente que aún no conocemos, al final todo es un propósito en esta tierra.
