Recuerdo muchos momentos de mi infancia sobre todo de mi etapa escolar, tuve la fortuna de que nunca me faltó nada ya que mi mamá y mi papá siempre hicieron su mayor esfuerzo por qué no nos faltara nada a mis hermanos y a mi, para ellos siempre fue muy importante que pudiéramos tener una educación más allá de la del hogar. Mi papá que tiene una librería en la ciudad dónde vive bastante lejos de la nuestra algunas veces podía enviarnos todos los útiles escolares porque tenía los materiales que en una librería siempre se pueden conseguir.
I remember many moments of my childhood, especially my school years, I was fortunate to never lacked anything because my mom and dad always did their best to make sure that my siblings and I never lacked anything, for them it was always very important that we could have an education beyond the home. My dad, who has a bookstore in the city where he lives quite far from ours, could sometimes send us all the school supplies because he had the materials that you can always get in a bookstore.
Cuando mi papá no podía enviarnos los materiales escolares recuerdo que enviaba dinero para que saliéramos con mi mamá a escoger cada una de las cosas que pedían en la lista de útiles, ese momento era de mucha emoción ya que habían tantos materiales que me emocionaba comprar sobre todo los colores y los cuadernos para cada materia, en esos tiempos no era tan complicado ni tan caro el poder adquirirlos asi que eran tres listas de utiles para mi hermanos y para mí, habían cosas que podíamos reutilizar como libros de alguna materia de mi hermano que es el mayor de los tres.
When my dad could not send us the school supplies I remember that he would send money so that we could go out with my mom to choose each of the things they asked for in the list of school supplies, that moment was very exciting because there were so many materials that I was excited to buy especially the colors and notebooks for each subject, in those times it was not so complicated or so expensive to acquire them so there were three lists of supplies for my brothers and me, there were things that we could reuse as books of some subject of my brother who is the oldest of the three of us.
Mi mamá siempre se emocionaba también cuando compraba las cosas, sobre todo le gustaba forrar los cuadernos y ponerle a cada uno las etiquetas con nuestros nombres y el nombre del colegio junto con el nombre de la materia. Recuerdo que tuve una temporada que me gustaba mucho Hannah Montana y de esa temática eran mis cuadernos, también tuve de Badtz Maru y luego ya me gustaban las libretas más de colores y es bonito recordar todo eso porque puedo ver que a pesar de las cosas que pudieran estar sucediendo mi mamá siempre buscó que nunca nos faltara nada y mi papá también al estar pendiente de como nos iba en clases.
My mom was always excited when she bought things, she especially liked to line the notebooks and put labels with our names and the name of the school along with the name of the subject. I remember I had a time when I really liked Hannah Montana and that was the theme of my notebooks, I also had Badtz Maru and then I liked the more colorful notebooks and it is nice to remember all that because I can see that despite the things that could be happening my mom always tried to make sure we never lacked anything and my dad also to be aware of how we were doing in class.
Todavía guardo la emoción de todo lo que tiene que ver con papelería, tengo muchas libretas pequeñas para anotar cosas y también diferentes lapiceros y resaltadores, me gusta mucho poder tener como una colección de esto aunque cuando me toca utilizarlo sufro porque no quiero que se me acaben las hojas o se termine la tinta del lapicero 🥺😅. Está imagen me recuerda a los mejores momentos que viví en mi infancia y lo agradecida que estoy de poder haber tenido la oportunidad de estudiar y de escoger los materiales para mis clases, aún conservo algunos cuadernos pero más de la época de la secundaria ya que tuve que deshacerme de los de primaria porque ocupaban mucho espacio en mi casa.
I still keep the emotion of everything that has to do with stationery, I have many small notebooks to write things down and also different pens and highlighters, I really like to have a collection of this although when I have to use it I suffer because I don't want to run out of sheets or the ink of the pen runs out 🥺😅. This image reminds me of the best moments I lived in my childhood and how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to study and choose the materials for my classes, I still have some notebooks but more from the time of high school since I had to get rid of the elementary school ones because they took up too much space in my house.
Ver esta imagen me llena de nostalgia y me hace pensar en la población estudiantil de hoy en día en mi país, que ha tenido que pasar por procesos muy difíciles dónde muchos niños no tienen la oportunidad de estudiar debido a que deben trabajar desde muy pequeños para poder ayudar a sus familias. Ojalá las cosas puedan mejorar para que todos los jóvenes tengan la oportunidad de estudiar y convertirse en los mejores profesionales que puedan hacer el cambio que se necesita en nuestro país. 💗
Seeing this image fills me with nostalgia and makes me think of today's student population in my country, which has had to go through very difficult processes where many children do not have the opportunity to study because they must work from a very young age to help their families. Hopefully things can improve so that all young people have the opportunity to study and become the best professionals who can make the change that is needed in our country. 💗
