Saludos a todos. Como cada jueves de recuerdos, aquí les comparto mi participación de hoy, jueves 26 de octubre en el Concurso de Tbt convocado por nuestro amigo José Lanz, @lanzjoseg, para la comunidad #topfamiliy. Por aquí vengo con una de mis fotos más tiernas, y es la de mis dos princesas; mi hija y mi nieta. Esta imagen tiene aproximadamente unos 10 años, y fue en el bautizo de mi nieta Amy, en la ciudad de Anaco, estado Anzoátegui, lugar donde vivía la familia de mi nuera.
Mi pequeña nació en Cumaná, donde residió con sus padres los primeros años de vida, y posteriormente se mudaron a Maturín. En esta oportunidad, al igual que el día de la boda, a mi hija y a mí nos tocó trasladarnos desde El Tigre para estar presentes en la ceremonia, pero no podía ser de otra manera, si la madrina era mi hija.

Over here I come with one of my cutest pictures, and it's of my two princesses; my daughter and my granddaughter. This picture is about 10 years old, and it was taken at the baptism of my granddaughter Amy, in the city of Anaco, Anzoátegui state, where my daughter-in-law's family used to live.
My little girl was born in Cumaná, where she lived with her parents for the first years of her life, and later they moved to Maturín. On this occasion, as on the wedding day, my daughter and I had to travel from El Tigre to be present at the ceremony, but it could not be otherwise, if the godmother was my daughter.
Mi hija salió de la iglesia con ella en brazos porque adentro hacía calor, a pesar de que el lugar estaba abierto, y se podía notar en su cabello sudado. Por suerte su hermoso traje de princesa era descubierto, sino el calor habría sido peor.
Ese fin de semana nos quedamos en Anaco porque pasamos dos días celebrando el bautizo de nuestra pequeña. En ese momento, ella era la única bebé de las dos familias. Después de la misa y el bautizo, que se realizó un día sábado, tuvimos un desayuno familiar, y posteriormente fue la fiesta. Al otro día, la familia de mi nuera siguió la parranda, jajaja, pero por ser día domingo y tener que trabajar al día siguiente, tuvimos que retornar al mediodía.
Pasamos un fin de semana muy bonito, como todos los que se logran cuando la familia puede reunirse.
My daughter left the church with her in her arms because it was hot inside, even though the place was open, and you could see it in her sweaty hair. Luckily her beautiful princess gown was uncovered, otherwise the heat would have been worse.
That weekend we stayed in Anaco because we spent two days celebrating our little girl's baptism. At that time, she was the only baby of the two families. After the mass and the baptism, which took place on a Saturday, we had a family breakfast, and then it was the party. The next day, my daughter-in-law's family continued the party, hahaha, but because it was Sunday and we had to work the next day, we had to return at noon.
We had a very nice weekend, like all those that are achieved when the family can get together.
