Let's talk about wrestler attributes in WOOGame.

I believe all information regarding the attributes of your Woo NFTs is discussed in detail in the Woo GitBook. I recommend any newbie who has never played the game but is eager to dive in to read it beforehand. It will equip you with the knowledge needed to claim victories in the Woo game.

My intention for this post is to provide a briefing on the general attributes that every wrestler (NFT card) possesses. Based on my experience playing over 100 matches, I'll also share some in-game advice for success.

Every NFT wrestler in the game possesses a total of 6 attributes:

  • Cost
  • Speed
  • Damage
  • Health
  • Rarity
  • Belt

Again, these details are extensively covered in the WOO Gitbook, so there's no need for me to sound like I created the game. However, here's the thing: each show has a budget, randomly set and different. You cannot bring in NFT wrestlers whose total cost exceeds that set budget. For example, if the cost for a match is 34 and you have 3 undercard matches and one main event, you must submit players whose total cost is equal to or below 34 to enter the match. Otherwise, the game will not permit you to continue. While the cost doesn't directly influence the match outcome, it can guide you in choosing the right NFT wrestlers for each match, adding to the strategic nature of the Woo game.

Next is speed, a crucial attribute emphasized when I initially joined the Woo Discord page. @bookerman and other fantastic members of the Woo community highlighted it as the most important attribute for any wrestler NFT, directly impacting and determining the match outcome. It's practical because, just like Jet Lee or Jackie Chan, if you're fast in a fight, it becomes challenging for your opponent to land a punch. Speed represents how quickly your NFT launches the first attack and evades attacks from opponents. If you genuinely want to win a match, consider the speed of the wrestlers you choose.

Damage, as the name implies, represents the impact of an opponent's attack on you. When an opponent launches an attack and you can't evade due to your speed, your health will decrease by the amount of damage the opponent has. Now, there are additional factors affecting how opponents absorb damage, including resistance from three different wrestling styles and finisher moves which always deal double the damage unless otherwise resisted.

Health is essentially your "lifespan." Just like a cat with 9 lives is challenging to catch or attempt to kill, having more health means you can endure more damage before losing. With more lives, you can withstand additional damage, and perhaps, before your opponent finishes you off, you might deplete their health. So, having more health is crucial. Now, imagine combining health with speed – you'll become a formidable force.

Essentially, the factors that determine a win in a match are Speed, Health, and Damage.

Rarity and Belt showcase the uniqueness of the NFT you own. Naturally, the rare ones come with higher attributes out of the box (mint). There are two kinds of belts - silver and Gold belt. Silver belts are more common, while NFTs with Gold belts are exceptionally rare.

There you have it, a brief overview of the WOO Game NFT attributes. I hope this helps explain it to newcomers.
