Roman and Cody Against Solo and Jacob Fatu 🔥

In a surprise turn of events, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes will team up against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at WWE Bad Blood 2024. However, a good WWE analyst Sam Roberts stated that the match might end up seeing a huge swerve and for me I ain't surprised at all.

The Original Tribal Chief returned last Friday on SmackDown to prevent a post-match attack by Bloodline against The American Nightmare. Later that night, he and Rhodes fought off another attack by Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa as they signed the contract for their tag-team match at Bad Blood. Solo and his new enforcer Fati were right outside the ring watching as Reigns and Cody signed the contract.

Sam Roberts on one podcast gave a couple of possibilities over the scheduled match between The Bloodline and the former rivals being Rhodes and Reigns, saying that Jacob Fatu could pin The American Nightmare to set up a possible match between the two of them.

He even said that Rhodes may get pinned, which will create some more tension between him and The OTC. I personally don't think it would happen like that because that will hurt the reputation of Roman because in his first match back he can't take a loss like that.

Another possibility is that Roman could turn on his tag team partner Rhodes and join forces with the current Bloodline. This incident, though, as stated by Roberts, would not materialize as the creative team, spearheaded by Triple H, would not want to sacrifice the "ultra-babyface" version of Roman Reigns. I agree with that as well, it's take reigns over a decade to achieve a good baby face reputation that people actually love so I don't think WWE will risk messing that up.

Perhaps at survivor series we will see The Rock, Jey, Jimmy and Paul Heyman in Roman's corner to finally bring an end to solo.

My prediction is that Roman and Cody will win but there will still be issues during the match that would lead to survivor series where Roman and his team face Solo and his entire bloodline. After which they'll head all the way to Royal Rumble when we might see Roman in his first singles match since he returned.
