The prompt this week is - Infrastructure
Tell me about a notable piece of infrastructure in your world ! It could be a bridge, a road, a monorail, a sewer system, a public building - all kinds of things count as infrastructure. Who built it and why ? Who paid for it ? Is it old or new ? How is it staffed and operated ?
Just to add a bit of spice to things, the two entries I most like (and are linked in comments to this post, so I can find them !) that are posted by midnight (GMT) next Saturday will each get a prize of one Hive SBI.
