On the way, back home after voting.

The other side of the road

Well, last week our state had the opportunity to vote for their candidate for the parliament. .People globally go for electing a leader who has the calibre, to understand the present situation of the country and its people, as a whole. Expectations grow along with a new government.

Even the leaves were not spared

So everyone was quite busy and serios, going to polling booth to cast vote for their favorite leader. To be honest, I was quite happy too. Voting on one side, and spending and gossiping, some time with friends whom I met after a long tim

Myself, my daugher and sons were all here to cast our vote. As it was a public holiday, they came all the way from hostel, to cast the vote.

Posters of candidates being pinned in a string and tied between the posts and trees.

We left home around 7.00a.m. inorder to escape the scorching heat and to finish off this entitled work, at the earliest. But to our surprise , more than 50 people were infront of us, which meant, people are smarter than us.

Infact, apart from voting, it was a wonderful reunion of few friends, who met after a long time. And each time our laugh raised, we were cautioned by the police to remain silent.

Though the heat was prevalent, causing sun burns, giddiness and tiredness to many, the comments and jokes among friends made us stable and overcome this successfully.

This is a short experience to the much awaited polling booth. The typed text and the photos of the so called candidates, were captured by me and my daughter way back home.

Thanks for your valuable visit.
