«Season Hunt challenge» Week 3 - Mushrooms

Hiiiiii 👋🍄😊,
This time I will be on time with my post for the Season hunt challenge Week 3 since in the last week challenge my post about the leaves was a bit late ...but this time I am doing it...sleep is overrated anyway so I decided, while I enjoy the sound of my sleeping kids, to share with you my mushroom hunt from last week.
Oh, and isn't it #FungiFriday today too😀?

We went for a walk with @anikad, the kids and our 6 dogs 🐶🐕🐶🐕🐶🐕(3 mine, 2 of Ani and 1 we are taking care of for the winter) and of course some bags for the mushrooms 😊 We go very near by our village where it is very flat and mostly fields of crops but they are separated with tree lines. And this is where we find our treasures. We found them last year there so I couln't wait for the right time to come and check how are the mushrooms. And as I expected we found a LOT of oysters.

The kids also enjoyed the #seasonhunt and actually they found most of the oysters

Did you know Oyster Mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus) are good sources of vitamin D, protein, fiber, potassium, vitamin B6 and folate. But to be honest I don't know how much of those source do we intake after we cook the oysters?!? I tried to find values of raw vs cooke oyster mushroom but I couldn't find info about the cooked one. So I though maybe dried they will be the best, they will keep all of their beneficial sources. I am not sure about this, if someone from you know I would love to hear 🙂

Other mushrooms we found were Macrolepiota procera - Parasol mushrooms. Very beautiful mushroom.

And I think this one is Dryad’s Saddle

And 2 that I don't know what they are:

I wish I could've done more shots on some of the mushrooms but omg it is so fricking hard to make a picture with so many dogs around me. 😄🐶😄When I start making a close picture, they all come to check what I am doing and sometimes they smash the fungi and then sit right next to it.

We got home happy, tired (even the dogs) and with full bags of mushrooms. Great day overall, again!
Then it was the sweet part - cooking and eating. The next few days we had sauted oysters, baked ones, in soup, as cream soup....you know all that we could think of and we like. I just love the abundance Nature gives us!

Thanks again @qwerrie for kind of inspiring me to do a #seasonhunt last week. For this week challenge I am sure you will have amazing photos to share with us since you are one true #FungiLover 😊

Thank you for stopping by and go hunt some mushrooms!
