What a wonderful day we are blessed with today. I am happy to witness this Monday. It is a Monday with blessings and goodness from God our Creator.
The pictures in this post are from the Redemption Camp situated at Mowe in Ogun State, Nigeria. The Redemption Camp is the campground of the Redeemed Christian Church Of God. Members of the church usually gather there to pray. There are several occasions where gatherings are initiated in the camp. There is the monthly Holy Ghost Service which is held every first Friday of the month.
Another very important program organized in the camp by the missions authority is the yearly December Holy Ghost Congress. This usually holds in the first week of December and it's usually a week long event. The Holy Ghost Congress is always very interesting and spiritually rewarding for christian brethren.
We also gather in the month of March for the Special Holy Ghost Service which is in honor of the birthday of the church leader, Pastor Enoch Adeboye. The Special Holy Ghost Service is usually a 3 - days weekend program.
The program currently going on in the camp where we are presently gathered is the church annual convention. The annual convention is the greatest event of the mission. It usually takes place in August. There are several important doctrinal activities of the church that are carried out during the annual convention. There is the graduation of Bible College Students, ordination of different categories of the church workers and lots more.
One important thing that our gatherings do is that it offer us the opportunity to pray for the nations of the world and for ourselves.
