As mentioned a month ago, Florida will now have to rely on external thunderstorms to quench the stubborn dry spell as energy for ingrown thunderstorms have fizzled out. All 'thanks' to a stubborn high pressure system over the Gulf Coast of Texas! Now as the year unfolds, can we begin having some in-grown thunderstorms now that the drought is near-exceptional, eh?
