When Japan admitted to the American about attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, the United States became fully involved in the war. At that time, United States was supplying troops, weapons, ammunition, and supplies to various Allied powers. This film depicts some of the naval battles between the US and German forces during the Second World War, known as the Atlantic War. The movie was inspired by The Good Shepard, published in 1955. Whose author was C.S Forester. The movie is screenplayed and directed by Aaron Schneider.

In the movie, you can see the tireless efforts and hard work of a captain. Not sleeping for about 48 hours. The pain of losing an army is all there. The sound effects are very nice. But the ending didn't seem so overwhelming to me. For this I could not give 7.5 / 9.

Its a 1 hour and 30 minutes movie where you won't wanna miss a moment.

It was urgent to send manpower, army, weapons, goods, etc. by filling the convoy for the Allied forces in the war sailing by sea from U.S. naval bases to the UK. But the Air Force cannot go farther than the Mid-Atlantic to protect the convoy. For this reason, the entire area called Black pit in the Mid-Atlantic is out of air support. Because of the fuel capacity of warplanes. For that, the convoy proceeded through the protection of the Navy.

A convoy usually refers to a fleet that is escorted by a warship to its destination. Greyhound, Eagle, Dickey, Harry, Cardona, these five warships are engaged in the protection of the convoy.

Greyhound's Captain Cruise (Tom Hanks) is in charge. This was his first mission to the Atlantic in this war. The only obstacle from America to the UK was the German advanced submarine known as U-Boats.

Will the Greyhound now be able to use its maximum supplies to reach the Allies or sink to the bottom of the Atlantic?
