It has been raining cats and dog since morning. The Summer had gone before the last month. But weather didn’t change last month so much. During last two weeks it have been raining. Whenever I see rain I get nostalgic .
Among the six season, I hated the Rainy season most. In my childhood it can be said till my college life rain was so called enemy of mine . As I grow up at Dhaka city, I hadn’t so much opportunity to go out without going school and playing sports. If any day rained I Couldn’t go out to play and the ground also became wet. It was too much irritating to me cause Playing was the only time when I met with my friends . Because of bad drainage system the roads went under dirty water. My mother was so strict about this so she didn’t permit me to wet in rain. That’s why I always prayed to get rid of Rainy season.
But all of my perception about rainy season got changed after going to my campus. Yes, I was a student of Jahangirnagar University which is kingdom of Natural Beauty. What is the beauty of rain I came to know from here. If it rained it was like festival for us. The full Campus got a new form.
Especially from my hall(S.S.B HALL) we could enjoy the best. Rain got best form because of structure of this hall. During rain we the student of hall used to play football in front of our hall. If any one denied we forced him to play. We played as long as rain didn’t stop.

After playing we visited full campus on foot to hunt the beauty of nature. The trees and roads got a new look. Not only us the whole campus celebrate the rain like us. All came out from room to wet in rain. Sometimes we see some romantic couple who were enjoying the rain.
After finishing our visit we went to take bath in pond. Though the rain stopped but we didn’t stop our shower. More than one hour we remained in pond. Sometimes teachers requested us to left the pond. Even I didn’t know swimming but I never miss the chance.
Sometimes I didn’t go out in rain. I took a chair in front of my room and enjoyed the beauty. Many times we celebrate the rain by eating “MURI CHANACUR “. When the rain fall in night I switched off the light and enjoyed the sound of rain.
Nowadays when I see rain I feel happy. But the beauty of rain Can’t enjoy in this structural city. Here you have to see the rain through the grill. But the city has another form of beauty. But the best place to enjoy rain is my campus.
