La semana antes pasada, mi esposo, @n4nd0 y yo fuimos a @kenko.teteriasaludable a tomarnos unas bebidas de Té de Burbujas, pero lamentablemente, a la hora que llegamos ya se habían terminado todas. Esto fue debido a un evento de anime que se estaba dando lugar en el Mall donde está ubicado Kenko, lo que significa que había muchísima gente desde temprano consumiendo desaforadamente. Aquí te dejo esta publicación donde les cuento que hicimos al no encontrar el Té de Burbuja, ese día. Por tal motivo, el fin de semana pasado regresamos a " kenko" en búsqueda de nuestros Bubble Tea que por suerte, encontramos.

¿Pero qué es el Té de Burbujas?

Según mis pequeñas investigaciones, el Té de Burbujas o Té de Perlas es una bebida a base de diferentes tipos de té como el té negro, té rojo, té verde y el té azul. Estos tés se pueden mezclar con leche o zumo de frutas como las fresas, el mango, la maracuyá, entre otros. Pero, lo que le otorga es toque especial y tan atractivo a esta bebida son las bolitas o perlas que están hecha de harina de tapioca, que es un almidón refinado de la planta de yuca, gelatina o agar agar.

En cuanto al origen del Té de Burbujas, se dice que fue creado en Taiwán hace más de 40 años por la dueña de una Casa de Té. Al parecer, a ella se le ocurrió agregar su postre de tapioca a su Té helado en una reunión con sus colegas y les gustó tanto que la incluyeron en el menú, llegando a ser el producto más vendido en su Casa de Té.

Por otro lado, el Té de Burbujas ha sido una de las bebidas más peculiares que me he tomado en toda mi vida. La primera vez que lo probé, fue el año pasado y les juro que no podía para de disfrutar de su delicioso sabor y de absolver las suaves burbujas, que parecen unas gomitas, que explotan en la boca y hace que cada sorbo sea una experiencia increíblemente divertida. Sin embargo, el Té de Burbujas que me tomé esa vez estaba preparado con leche de vaca y mucha crema como topping, por lo tanto a pesar de que me encantó, lamentablemente, no me cayó bien, ya que tengo cierta intolerancia a la lactosa. Después de esa experiencia, no quise volver a tomarla.

Afortunadamente, y gracias a que existen lugares como "Kenko" que ofrece comida vegana, sin lactosa, sin azúcar refinada y sin gluten, puedo deleitarme tomándome un Té de Burbujas de diferentes sabores frutales y evidentemente, sin lactosa. Hasta los momentos, he probado la de fresas, la de mango con maracuyá y la última vez que fuimos probé la de Té Matcha, que se ha vuelto mi favorita. Por cierto, esta bebida te dejará una sensación de llenura por un buen rato.

Adicionalmente, quiero enfatizar que la experiencia fue completa, pues no solo tienen buena comida y deliciosas bebidas con el Té de Burbujas, también tienen una atención estupenda. Una de las cosas que agradecí y que recibí como un bálsamo fue que la chica que nos atendió dijo con gran amabilidad: "Muchas gracias por venir a "Kenko" y que tengan una bonita tarde". Cuando escuché eso, casi que me regreso para abrazarla. Luego, le comenté a Nando: ¡"Este tipo de atención no la recibimos en la franquicia que tiene el logo verde"!

Finalmente, nos fuimos felices por haber recibido una buena atención, como debería ser.

The week before last, my husband, @n4nd0 and I went to @kenko.teteriasaludable to have some Bubble Tea drinks, but unfortunately, by the time we got there they were all gone. This was due to an anime event that was taking place in the Mall where Kenko is located, which means that there were a lot of people from early in the morning drinking wildly. Here is this post where I tell you what we did when we couldn't find the Bubble Tea that day. For that reason, last weekend we went back to "kenko" in search of our Bubble Tea which luckily, we found.

But what is Bubble Tea?

According to my little research, Bubble Tea or Pearl Tea is a beverage based on different types of tea such as black tea, red tea, green tea and blue tea. These teas can be mixed with milk or fruit juices such as strawberries, mango, passion fruit, among others. But, what gives a special and attractive touch to this drink are the balls or pearls that are made of tapioca flour, which is a refined starch from the cassava plant, gelatin or agar agar.

As for the origin of Bubble Tea, it is said that it was created in Taiwan more than 40 years ago by the owner of a Tea House. Apparently, she had the idea of adding her tapioca dessert to her iced tea in a meeting with her colleagues and they liked it so much that they included it in the menu, becoming the best-selling product in her Tea House.

On the other hand, Bubble Tea has been one of the most peculiar drinks I have ever had in my life. The first time I tried it was last year and I swear I couldn't stop enjoying its delicious taste and absorbing the soft bubbles, which look like gumdrops, that explode in my mouth and make every sip an incredibly fun experience. However, the Bubble Tea I had that time was prepared with cow's milk and lots of cream as a topping, so although I loved it, it unfortunately did not go down well with me as I am somewhat lactose intolerant. After that experience, I didn't want to drink it again.

Fortunately, and thanks to the fact that there are places like "Kenko" that offers vegan, lactose-free, refined sugar-free and gluten-free food, I can delight myself with a Bubble Tea in different fruity flavors and obviously, lactose-free. So far, I have tried the strawberry one, the mango with passion fruit one and the last time we went I tried the Matcha Tea one, which has become my favorite. By the way, this drink will leave you feeling full for quite a while.

Additionally, I want to emphasize that the experience was complete, because not only do they have good food and delicious drinks with Bubble Tea, they also have a great service. One of the things that I appreciated and that I received as a balm was that the girl who attended us said with great kindness: "Thank you very much for coming to "Kenko" and have a nice afternoon". When I heard that, I almost went back to hug her. Then, I commented to Nando: "We don't get this kind of attention at the franchise with the green logo"!

Finally, we left happy for having received good attention, as it should be.
