Amigos hivers amantes del té y la bebida, un gusto saludarles desde por aquí, siendo este mi primer post en la colmena, traigo para compartirles un té muy especial y que le hace muy bien a muchas personas, él té sagrado de flor de paraíso o azucena de porcelana.
Alpinia Zerumbet nombre científico, en mi familia se ha pasado de generación en generación como flor de paraíso, aunque yo le llamo también azucena de porcelana, ya que con el primer nombre tiende a confundirse con la flor de ave de paraíso siendo esta otra planta distinta, la azucena de porcelana es una planta que se desarrolla en climas tropicales como parte del caribe y subtropicales de Asia y del pacífico, esta grandiosa plata pertenece a la familia del jengibre, tiene un aroma muy particular su hoja alargada casi como el aroma de la canela por lo que en algunos lugares del mundo le llaman flor de canela o jengibre canela, ya que crece como el jengibre y su aroma nos recuerda a la especia ya mencionada.
Las hojas son usadas en la gastronomía china para envolver zongzi, cabe destacar que la misión del post es exponer el aspecto de esta planta en la medicina natural, pues tiene propiedades diuréticas y anti-ulcerogenicos, la decocción de la hoja se puede usar luego para un baño para aliviar la fiebre, las hojas y la flor se puede usar en diversos preparados para el tratamiento como el asma, catarros hipertensión, úlceras entre otras.
- 1 flor mediana de azucena de porcelana
- 1 hoja de la planta
- 500ml de Agua
- tres cucharadas casera de azúcar o preferiblemente miel legítima.
Paso 1
Tenía días si encontrar una flor estuve limpiando el patio y conseguí una, es bueno para la planta cosechar por la mañana y en luna menguante esto para el fruto preferiblemente y para su poda, suelo pedir permiso porque cada planta tiene con si un ser elemental, así lo dicen algunos conocidos, además de ser un ser vivo, les comento la flor tiene un aroma muy particular, la planta nos comparte unas flores más abundantes que esta que encontré, ya que es por época.
Paso 2
Una vez cortada la flor también agarramos una hoja, esto depende de como lo queremos preparar, si fuerte o sutil, lavamos y nos vamos al fuego.
Paso 3
Buscamos una olla y colocamos las flores y picamos una hoja en cuadritos, en este caso coloqué 500 ml de agua potable para cuatro tasas medianas.
Paso 4
La llevamos al fuego y dejamos hervir por unas 5 a 7 minutos, revolvemos un poco para que ambos dejen su esencia, tapamos para que no se evapore, al quitar el fuego dejamos reposar por unos 10 a 15 minutos.
Paso 5
Mientras reposaba él té , conversaba con mis tías, mi prima y mi Ahijado, pues todos esperaban él te, la casa está arropada por este aroma, como podemos ver en la imagen se tiende a poner con un tono morado por las flores.
Paso 6
Lo pasé por un colador y obtuve 450ml de te ya que al hervir se evapora un poco y luego calenté, serví con mucho cariño, en esta ocasión, use un poco de azúcar, por que era para compartir con los invitados y no tenía miel, por lo general lo tomo sin colocarle nada a menos que en la despensa tenga miel,
De esta manera fue el proceso del te, aunque todos estamos sanos nos disfrutamos la tarde de té, pero al igual es muy buena usarla cuando se tiene gripe e incluso usarla con otras plantas, tales como el malojillo y poleo, esta especie ha sido nuestra planta guía y ha ayudado a muchos en la comunidad cuando tengo gripe suelo usar él té dos veces al día por una semana y la semana siguiente uso un jarabe a base de miel para aliviar la tos y el catarro, por suerte muy poco me da gripe así que estemos atento y cuidemos y fortalezca mis nuestras plantas sagradas en mi caso la de paraíso o azucena a de porcelana.
Esta planta fue sembrada por mi abuelo, hace alrededor de 27 a 30 años, increíble cómo se ha mantenido en el tiempo debajo de la mata de guayaba, mi abuelo reside en otros planos, hace 11 años que ya no está con nosotros, me siento agradecido por el regalo heredado.

Step 1
