Barbie necesita nuevos conjuntos y yo necesito practicar y ponerme a hacer cosas que quiero así que en esta ocasión fui un poco más allá con la creación para mi pequeña modelo, esta vez su atuendo será una inspiración de la moda de los años 80, donde el color era super protagonista y el estilo de los aerobics se veía en las calles y las tiendas.
Barbie needs new outfits and I need to practice and do things that I want, so this time I went a little further with the creation for my little model. This time her outfit will be inspired by the fashion of the 80s, where color was the main character and the aerobics style was seen on the streets and in stores.
Para esto estoy usando unos retazos de rib en amarillo 💛 y verde 💚, ambos colores son muy potentes y la combinación de ambos es muy atractiva en cuanto a color de ambas telas así que manos a la obra para hacer este nuevo atuendo.

Corte unos shorts porque no hice ninguno hasta el momento para barbie, con el mismo molde del pantalón de siempre corte de una medida más corta que siempre para hacerlo.
Cosí los tiros, hice los ruedos y la cintura esta vez va a tener un pequeño elástico que va a estar anudado por dentro de la prenda, para pasar el elástico deje un canal, lo pase, lo anude y luego cerré el espacio que deje para el canal, y pantalones listos, con la práctica de atuendos mis costuras se están haciendo más fáciles.
I cut some shorts because I haven't made any for Barbie yet, using the same pattern as always, I cut them a size shorter than usual to make them. I sewed the hems, made the hems and the waist this time will have a small elastic that will be tied inside the garment, to pass the elastic through I left a channel, passed it through, tied it and then closed the space I left for the channel, and the pants are ready, with practice making outfits my sewing is getting easier.
Para el top hice algo más fácil, es un rectángulo que lleva velcro en la espalda, pero con el color de combinación que va a estar en la parte superior e inferior del top, esto no solo aporta color, sino que ayuda con la terminación.

Primero corté todo, luego cosí las tiras de color de unos 2 cm y después cosí el velcro de la espalda, con estas simples costuras el top está listo y con la ayuda de costura zigzag también se hace rápido.

Arme el atuendo sumando unas "medias" que son unas mangas cortadas de una chaqueta que no me convencía, y las botas negras de siempre, si barbie tuviera zapatillas estaría lista para una clase de aerobics jajajaja.
I put together the outfit by adding some "tights" which are sleeves cut from a jacket that I didn't like, and the usual black boots. If Barbie had sneakers she would be ready for an aerobics class hahaha.
Fue divertido hacer un atuendo más colorido esta vez, lo bueno de hacer los atuendos de barbie es que siempre puedo experimentar con las cosas que voy haciendo y al hacer cada vez más pequeñas prendas me ayuda a ir mejorándolos un poco más, tengo otros conjuntos ya cortados y varias ideas que quiero ejecutar, quizás para noviembre con el final de mis clases de la facultad ya pueda terminar mis ideas de conjuntos para barbie.
It was fun to make a more colorful outfit this time, the good thing about making Barbie outfits is that I can always experiment with the things I'm making and making smaller and smaller pieces of clothing helps me improve them a little more, I have other outfits already cut out and several ideas that I want to execute, perhaps by November with the end of my college classes I can finish my ideas for Barbie outfits.
