A warm greeting to everyone in the DIY Hub community! This time I present to you a very nice and fun craft to do. It is a mobile made with bills or colored paper. Let's take a look at the process.
¡Un saludo cordial a todos en la comunidad de DIY Hub! En esta ocasión les presento una manualidad muy bonita y entretenida de hacer. Se trata de un móvil realizado con billetes o bien sea papeles de colores. Veamos el proceso de elaboración.
The materials we will need are / Los materiales que vamos a necesitar son:
Corrugated cardboard / Cartón corrugado
Colored paper / Papel de colores
Colored worsted weight yarn / Estambre de colores
White glue and scissors / Pega blanca y Tijeras
Recycled container / Envase reciclado
We start by cutting out a corrugated cardboard ring. We proceed to line it with colored paper, in this case I used devalued bills of different colors and designs that I had at home. Once ready we reserve.
Iniciamos recortando un aro de cartón corrugado. Procedemos a forrarlo con papel de colores, en esta caso utilicé billetes devaluados de diversos colores y diseños que tenía en casa. Una vez listo reservamos.
In this case we will need a 12x15 cm piece of paper to make origami boats. Fold the paper in half, bring the folded part to the edges leaving a space for some folds. Then bend these folds upwards.
En este caso necesitaremos una pieza de papel de 12x15 cm para realizar origamis de barquitos. Doblamos el papel por la mitad, llevamos la parte del doblez hacia los bordes dejando un espacio para unos pliegues. Luego doblamos estos pliegues hacia arriba.
We unfold in the opposite direction until we get a rhombus. Then we bring the ends to the center of the piece. All that remains is to unfold the ends and we would have the shape of boats.
Desplegamos en sentido contrario hasta lograr un rombo. Luego llevamos las puntas hacia el centro de la pieza. Solo resta desplegar los extremos y ya tendríamos la forma de barquitos.
Once the paper boats are ready, we open a hole in the upper part with the help of a skewer stick to place a piece of yarn that will be used to hang them to the main ring. Here we can see 8 little boats ready. We proceed to join them with a tie of the previously made ring.
Una vez listos los barquitos de papel les abrimos un orificio en la parte superior con la ayuda de un palito de pinchos para poder colocarle un trozo de estambre que servirá para guindarlos al aro principal. Acá podemos ver 8 barquitos listos. Procedemos a unirlos con un amarre al aro previamente realizado.
Here we have the first part ready.
Aquí tenemos lista la primera parte.
Now we are going to place a hanging mechanism with the help of the upper part of a recycled container, we open 4 holes, we put yarn and we join this top to the rest of the mobile.
Ahora vamos a colocarles un mecanismo de colgado con la ayuda de la parte superior de un envase reciclado, le abrimos 4 orificios, colocamos estambre y unimos este tope al resto del móvil.
Finally we place a hanger which we will hold with the lid of the container.
Finalmente le colocamos un colgador el cual vamos a sostener con la misma tapa del envase.
