Upcycled artistry; transforming broken bottles into stunning 3D butterfly decor

Hello beautiful people all over the world, welcome to the DIY community, a community that allows people to show their art and craft skills and also to learn from different people from different countries.

So today I will be crafting a 3D butterfly for interior decorations.

The materials are:

Broken bottles (different colors)

Broken plate

Hammer

Paper

Pen

Paint

Carton

Gum

Painting Brush

Scissors

Toothbrush

Process

I made use of a pen to sketch butterfly images on the paper.

Then made use of scissors to cut them out.

I placed the diagram on a carton and then made use of a pen to sketch it on the carton.

I made use of scissors to cut it out as well, in six places.

I made use of the toothbrush to apply gum on one side of the butterfly, then placed another one on top.

The reason why I doubled the butterfly was because I wanted it to be very bold and thick.

The same process was applied to the other two butterflies.

I packed all the broken bottles inside a rag, then folded it up and made use of the hammer to break them into pieces.

I painted the butterflies and set them aside.

I cut three lines from the carton and then made use of the black paint and the brush to paint the three lines.

I set them aside to dry for some minutes.

After that, I made use of the toothbrush to apply gum to each butterfly and then started to place the broken bottle pieces on it until there was no space on the butterfly again.

The same process was applied to the other two butterflies. I set them aside to dry for some minutes again.

Now it's time to bring everything together.

I made use of the three lines to form a triangle and then made use of the toothbrush to apply gum on each edge, and I placed the butterflies on each angle.

I allowed it to dry for some minutes again before hanging it on the wall.

I hope you like my 3D butterfly decoration.
