Hello gorgeous members of @diyhub community, today am thrilled to share with us all a diy sunflower.
For today's diy, I decided to settle for a paper craft and for which exact craft to do I went with a sunflower. 🌻 Sunflowers are pretty flowers, they are known for their radiant colors that is able to brighten someone's mood that too they bloom during summer and because of this you normally hear a guy calls a lady he loves my sunflower. 😄 The flower also symbolizes loyalty, love and admiration so you see the name is definitely cool for a romantic relationship. 🤣
To begin with the procedures for the flower, these were the materials used:
*Cardboard paper
*Compass
*Pencil
*Evostic glue
*Poster colors
*Scissor
*Rule
PROCEDURES
Firstly, I fixed the pencil to the compass there after I placed the white cardboard paper on the working surface after which I measured 14cm length with the compass and drew a circle so that's how big the circle is. After drawing the circle I used scissor to cut it out.
Secondly, I drew a rough sketch of the flowers and then cut out as many as I want.
When I was through cutting I then went ahead to paint the flowers with different colors.
Thirdly, I cut a little yellow circle which will serve as the seed that's always in the middle of the flower. I later went on to apply glue and began to paste the flowers one after the other on the seed till I was done and then placed it on the big circle.
Fourthly, for the stem and leaf all I did was to cut out a shape like stem and leaf afterwards I painted it lemon green and also paste it.
Lastly, I wanted to give it a little touching, so I cut a little grass like paper and also attached it with the others after which i drew the eyes and mouth and also colored it respectively.
