Saludos amigos creativos, deseo se encuentren disfrutando de buena salud y tengan un excelente día, me siento feliz de compartir un nuevo proyecto de costura inspirado en Sergeant Grauzral, un personaje de las cartas de Splinterlands; se trata de un top deportivo en color vinotinto con tiras negras y forma de gota en la parte trasera.

For the elaboration of the top I used the embonado technique, which allows a better finish and the seams are hidden, I started by marking and cutting the pieces; back, front and strips (two of each are cut to embonate).

Para la elaboración del top usé la técnica del embonado, que permite un mejor acabado y las costuras quedan ocultas, inicié marcando y cortando las piezas; trasero, delantero y tiras (se cortan dos de cada una para embonar).
Then I joined the back pieces in the center, pinned and sewed with a straight stitch. I also sewed the strips facing each other, right sides together and turned.
Luego uní en el centro las piezas del trasero, sujeté con alfileres y cosí con puntada recta. También cosí las tiras enfrentando, los derechos y volteé.

Para coser el trasero enfrenté las piezas y coloqué la tiras en la parte superior, cosí al igual que en la parte delantera dejando los laterales abiertos.
Once the front and back were assembled, I joined both parts, facing the right side, passing the strips through the shoulder opening, pinned, sewed with a straight stitch, then turned the piece over and all the seams were joined.
Ensamblado el delantero y posterior uní ambas partes, enfrenté por el derecho pasando las tiras por la abertura de los hombros, sujeté con alfileres, cosí con puntada recta, luego volteé la pieza y así quedan todas las costuras embonadas.
To close the sides, I faced the front and back seams, matching the armhole seams, pinned, sewed with straight stitch and turned over.
Para cerrar los laterales enfrenté las costuras del delantero y poserior, haciendo coincidir las uniones de las sisas, sujeté con alfileres, cosí con puntada recta y volteé.
The last step was to cut a strip of sixty-eight (68) centimeters long by fifteen (15) wide, which will be the sash, I sewed at the junction of the ends, turned and zigzagged along the edges, pinned at the bottom of the top and sewed with straight stitch, thus and with simple steps a nice sporty top is finished.
El último paso fue cortar una tira de sesenta y ocho (68) centímetros de largo por quince (15) de ancho, la cual será el fajón, cosí por la unión de los extremos, volteé y pasé en zigzag por los bordes, sujeté con alfileres en la parte inferior del top y cosí con puntada recta, así y con sencillos pasos sestá terminado un lindo top deportivo.
I liked the teardrop design on the back of the top, it's the first time I do this kind of design and it gives a casual style to the garment, plus it looks very nice and youthful.
El diseño en forma de gota en la parte trasera del top me gustó, es la primera vez que hago este tipo de diseño y le da un estilo casual a la prenda, ademas se ve muy bonito y juvenil.
