HOW TO MAKE A DISPOSABLE BIN

Good day everyone. In honour of the world environment day we celebrated some weeks ago, I decided to share with you all how I made this simple dust bin out of cardboard paper.

If we have more of this along the streets, in our offices, home and schools, I'm sure the environment will be a lot more cleaner and better.

MATERIALS NEEDED

  • Strong cardboard
  • Gum
  • Coloured paper
  • Sticks
  • Scissors
  • Pencil

PROCEDURES

  • Using your pencil, draw a shape that looks like this on your cardboard paper and carve it out using your scissors

  • Duplicate what you just carved out such that there is two of it. Then, also carve out two rectangles that are of the same size with the other ones like this

  • Bring them together and glue each end to the other using a masking tape.

  • Taking your coloured paper, trace out the outlines of the shapes you just glued together like this.

  • Glue the colored paper you just carved out to the strong card board you had already carved it out in such a way that it covers the front completely like this.

  • Fold the sides of the strong cardboard paper to come together such that it becomes like a box then glue the ends together so it doesn't pull out like this.

  • Cover the down, and glue it with a piece of cardboard like this.

  • Taking another rectangular peice of cardboard, use the coloured paper to wrap around it firmly then fold it into two untill it looks like this

  • Put a stick in the middle, rub some glue over it and cover it with some coloured paper.

  • Also put a stick at the tip of the small box you made then glue it so it doesn't fall off. It should look like this

  • Place the small cover you just made to hang in between the stick like this

  • Lastly, add some signs and lables to beautify and create a sense of awareness that it's a disposable bin.
