Hello #jewelry friends. It makes me happy to be able to greet you and on this occasion to share with you the process of making a beautiful crocheted keychain with a pair of matching pigtails. I had been wanting to try this type of yarn for a long time, but had not been able to get it and yesterday I ran into the lady who supplies me with yarn and she mentioned that she had received the much desired chenille. I ordered one right away. She had an incredible variety of colors, unfortunately I didn't have enough money at the time, so I was only able to buy this one in fiesta red, which as the name describes it is an explosion of color. | Hola amigos de #jewelry. Hacía mucho que quería probar este tipo de lana, pero no la había conseguido y ayer me topé con la señora que me provee de hilos y mencionó que le había llegado la tan deseada chenille. Le pedí una de inmediato. Tenía una variedad increíble de colores, penosamente no tenía suficiente dinero en el momento, así que solo pude comprar esta de color rojo fiesta, que tal como su nombre lo describe es una explosión de color. |
It is a chubby wool, super soft and as Rafaella says, it makes you hug and caress it. I had the feeling that it would be very nice to knit with it, but it was a little difficult because I combined it with white crochet and it was a little tight. I suppose when knitting with another color of the same material, it will be much better. The three flowers are made with the same stitch pattern. The difference between the keychain and the pigtails is the size, since the center of the flower is smaller, we will have less petals in the flower. For the keychain there are 24 stitches with the white thread and for the pigtails there are 18 stitches. | Las tres flores están hechas con el mismo patrón de puntos. For the keychain flower I made a disk starting with a magic ring of six stitches. In the next round, we advance to 12 single crochet stitches, making an increase in each stitch. Then we increase to 18 single crochet stitches, making an increase in one stitch in between. In the next row, we will knit 24 stitches, making an increase in every other stitch. Now we make two rows without increases. We make a disk with the same amount of stitches to close the flower. | Para la flor del llavero realicé un disco que empieza con un anillo mágico de seis puntos. En la siguiente vuelta avanzando a 12 puntos bajos realizando un aumento en cada punto. Seguidamente aumentamos a 18 puntos bajos realizando un aumento en un punto de por medio. En la siguiente corresponde realizar 24 puntos realizando el aumento cada dos puntos bajos. Ahora realizamos dos vueltas sin aumentos. Realizamos un disco con la misma cantidad de puntos para cerrar la flor. |
We join both pieces and bring the chenille yarn forward passing it through a single crochet and making sure to pick up both the front and the back. We make two chain stitches that represent the first high stitch, a high stitch and two chains that we fix in the same stitch where we are working by means of a slipped stitch. We knit a single crochet and move to the next stitch where we repeat the petal pattern. We do this until we complete the circumference. | Unimos ambas piezas y traemos la lana chenille hacia adelante pasándola por un punto bajo y asegurándonos de tomar las dos partes, tanto la frontal como la trasera.
