I bought the drop shaped crystals almost a year ago and I had forgotten about them. At first I had the idea of making a necklace, but I was more inclined to make earrings since I curiously also had a couple of stars. Everything flowed very well. First I opened links in the chain and placed a pendant on each link, but the star and crystals needed individual rings as their holes were not big enough for the link to fit through. Then I placed a crystal and a chain on a strand of a piece of four-link chain and from the bottom up I placed all the pendants, each one on a link. | En principio tenía la idea de hacer un collar, pero me incliné más por los aretes ya que curiosamente tenía también un par de estrellas. I made a flower with red crystals and a clear glass bead in the center. I have a weakness for the latter, and although pearls would have been an excellent choice, I went for the glass ones. Putting the flower together is very simple and I used thin nylon. Passing the nylon through the ring of the hook so that it would be attached to it at once. Then we go back with both strands passing them in the opposite direction through the red crystals and at each end we introduce two more crystals, we already have four. In my opinion they somehow evoke the Christmas season as they have a cross, the Star of David and a vine leaf, elements that are somehow linked to the story of Jesus. I hope you like them.
