I'm grateful to @khaleesii for introducing and encouraging me to submit an Application as she felt it will be beneficial to my growth in the Hive community. Also thankful to @newbies-hive team for such a thoughtful initiative.

BACKGROUND: I was first introduced to Hive in October 2021, before then I knew nothing about hive, and, my journey through with all credits due whom is well stated in my first Post INTRODUCTION: FIRST POST ALERT.
My first mistake on Hive was not using proper TAGS in my introduction (the introduceyourself#) which i was made aware off shortly after joining the #Ladiesofhive community. Thereon was introduced to @theterminal, a community of Helpers that turned Family over a very short period of time. They helped me understand the use of #Tags and also how to source any foreign Text or Pictures properly in my post. They also helped me build my Reputation to what it is currently & like Family saw me through a very difficult time when I was Hacked & all assets stolen.
MY PURPOSE FOR JOINING THE NEWBIE INITIATIVE: I want to increase my visibility, meet newbies like myself as well as more seasoned members of the hive community, and hopefully form long-lasting relationships as we all grow together. I want to be pushed to improve the quality and consistency of my blogging and this is where THE NEWBIES INITIATIVE comes into play.
You'll get to know new authors, communities, and initiatives. Finally by completing tasks, commenting, posting, upvoting, and making transfers Newbies will beat at least part of Hive's learning curve and will be ready to grow as Hivers and become part of this thriving community - Newbies initiative.*
After reading what the NEWBIES INITIATIVE represent, their offer, and what we stand to gain during the course of the program, I knew it was timely and exactly what I needed. The Hive community is well-structured in such a way that it gives back more than it takes in, making it an artificially intelligent blockchain with emotions. As a result, I intend to ensure that I deliver quality content worthy of the rewards. I am confident that the NEWBIES INITIATIVE will assist me in this endeavor.
