¡Hola Hola Comunidad! ✨, sé que actualmente como venezolanos estamos atravesando uno de los momentos más duros en nuestra historia, hay incertidumbre, miedo, rabia, esperanza pero en algunos, también hay desesperanza, desde el domingo he estado en mi cuarto acostada viendo noticia tras noticia en un círculo vicioso imparable, hoy por mi salud mental decidí ocuparme, de distintas maneras (incluso retomé la redacción de mi Trabajo de Grado 🤣), y es por eso que decidí realizar éste post, en donde justamente quiero hablar de algo que me hace feliz, y de ésta plataforma que de muchas maneras ha sido un punto importante de mi vida 💕, incluso un elemento que como hoy, contribuye de muchas maneras a mi salud mental ♥️.
Hello Hello Community! ✨, I know that currently as Venezuelans we are going through one of the hardest times in our history, there is uncertainty, fear, anger, hope but in some, there is also hopelessness, since Sunday I have been in my room lying down watching news after news in an unstoppable vicious circle, today for my mental health I decided to occupy myself, in different ways (I even resumed writing my Degree Project 🤣), and that is why I decided to make this post, where I just want to talk about something that makes me happy, and this platform that in many ways has been an important point in my life 💕, even an element that as today, contributes in many ways to my wellbeing ♥️.
Mi amor por Hive comenzó desde el primer momento, cuando comencé aquí por allá en el 2020, estábamos justamente atravesando el momento crítico que detuvo al mundo entero, la pandemia por Covid-19; la incertidumbre de ese entonces aunado al encierro y la avalancha de noticias de fallecidos por contagio, me llevaron a tener que recurrir, así como hoy, a un medio que me hiciera redireccionar mis pensamientos, un lugar en el que pudiese poner mi atención y mis palabras, Hive desde el primer instante me proporcionó eso y mucho más, porque lo que empezó como un modo de escape, se convirtió en parte de mi estilo de vida, y en gran sentido, también se convirtió en mi trabajo ✨.
My love for Hive started from the very beginning, when I started here back in 2020, we were just going through the critical moment that brought the whole world to a halt, the Covid-19 pandemic; the uncertainty of that time coupled with the confinement and the avalanche of news of deaths due to contagion, led me to have to resort, just like today, to a medium that made me redirect my thoughts, a place where I could put my attention and my words, Hive from the first moment provided me with that and much more, because what started as a way of escape, became part of my lifestyle, and in a great sense, it also became my job ✨.
Y es que justamente la monetización del contenido también es un elemento que me enamora de Hive, como estudiante universitario de tiempo completo, resulta muy difícil tener el tiempo de trabajar, los horarios siempre juegan un papel en contra, el cansancio que de por sí genera estudiar, son elementos que aunque se tenga la disposición, son de gran peso a la hora de decidir trabajar. Hive no solo me ha permitido generar mis propios ingresos, sino que también me ha dado la oportunidad de reflejar mi carrera a través de éste medio, y de ésta forma obtener los primeros ingresos de ella, los cuales por otro medio no habría sido posible obtenerlos. Sin embargo, todo ésto llega a quedar en segundo plano, cuando lo pongo en la balanza junto a la libertad, porque sí, de muchas formas Hive es exactamente eso que ahora a los venezolanos se nos niega, y es libertad de expresión 🎊.
As a full-time university student, it is very difficult to have the time to work, schedules always play a role against me, the fatigue that studying generates, are elements that even if you have the disposition, are of great weight when deciding to work. Hive has not only allowed me to generate my own income, but it has also given me the opportunity to reflect my career through this medium, and in this way obtain the first income from it, which would not have been possible to obtain by any other means. However, all of this comes to the background when I put it on the balance next to freedom, because yes, in many ways Hive is exactly that which Venezuelans are now denied, and that is freedom of expression 🎊.
De muchas formas, y bajo diversos contextos a lo largo de todos los años que he estado activa en ésta plataforma, éste siempre ha sido un medio en el cual he sentido la libertad de expresar y contar la mayor parte de mi vida, desde alegrías hasta tristezas, desde lo personal hasta lo profesional, desde lo creativo hasta lo lógico/racional, Hive siempre me ha brindado la oportunidad de mostrarme tal cual soy, y eso en medio de un gran número de redes sociales donde es mejor aparentar una vida perfecta que una vida real, es lo que yo considero la joya de la corona, y la razón por la que siempre diré que Hive fue y es mi bote salvavidas 💕. Y si hay algo más por lo que debo querer profundamente a éste ecosistema, es que después de 4 años de escritura semanal, hoy puedo ver sus grandes ventajas en el crecimiento de mi redacción, a través de nada más y nada menos que mi trabajo de grado 😂😂.
In many ways, and under different contexts throughout all the years I have been active on this platform, this has always been a medium in which I have felt the freedom to express and tell most of my life, from joys to sorrows, from the personal to the professional, from the creative to the logical/rational, Hive has always given me the opportunity to show myself as I am, and that in the midst of a lot of social media where it's better to appear a perfect life than a real life, is what I consider the jewel in the crown, and the reason why I will always say that Hive was and is my lifeboat 💕. And if there is anything else why I must love this ecosystem deeply, it is that after 4 years of weekly writing, today I can see its great advantages in the growth of my writing, through nothing more and nothing less than my degree work 😂😂.
