Being a part of the newbies initiative for the past three months has been what I will call life-changing, I have gotten to heights that would have taken longer, met people that have aided in my growth, and learned a lot from this program in general which I am grateful for and even though I am sad that it might be coming to an end, it is necessary so that other newbies can receive the help that I did.
For our last task, we were asked to review the initial goals we had when we first joined the newbies initiative program and I will be doing that below.
REVIEWING MY GOALS
Joining the newbies initiative program, I had six goals that I had hoped to achieve and I will try to review each of them.
My first goal was to get to a reputation of 65 and get a hive power of at least 300 and even though I wasn’t able to achieve this, I feel like starting from a reputable of 55 with an HP of 52 and growing to a reputation of 62 with HP of about 200 is still an achievement to me that I am very proud of.
My second goal was posting twice a day and I chose not to do this because I didn’t want to burn out but I could have if I wanted to.
My third goal was getting closer to certain people I admired and engaging more which I feel like I have done because I have been part of the top ten consecutively for three weeks in the hive engagement list.
My fourth goal was to write in more communities which I also achieved because I explored around from leofinance to theweekend which taught me a lot.
My fifth goal was to gain knowledge about blockchain gaming and crypto which I did pretty well in my opinion as I have been consistently gaming for three months and also learning more about crypto.
Lastly, I wanted to get a laptop through hive and even though I am currently having a minor setback with my laptop, I successfully accomplished this also.
WHAT ARE MY PLANS FOR HIVE IN 2022
My major plan for hive this 2022 is to remain consistent in writing and engaging for the whole year without falling off which I feel is very essential.
Also, I will love to get at least 1000 HBD in my savings and I was already working on that before a set back which might prompt me to remove what I have but regardless I am still hopeful.
Lastly, I want to invest more in certain projects and tokens in hive and I have been learning about ways to do this.
IN CONCLUSION
The past three months have been amazing and I didn’t just get to grow my hive account but I also became a part of a family and got closer to other newbies like @deraaa, @iskafan, @jaydr, and @b0s just to mention a few which I am grateful for.
Also, I am grateful for the help that was given to me by @starstrings01, @projectmamabg, @eddiespino, and @aliento through this initiative.
I feel like this isn’t an end but a new beginning for more newbies to come which is a great thing and I wish the next set the best.
