Siendo sincero, no he encontrado la manera correcta de comenzar a escribir este post, he escrito y borrado varias veces este primer párrafo, la verdad, es que describir las emociones que hemos vivido como comunidad en la #ExpoTecnoDigital es algo sencillamente inexplicable, no se puede plasmar en un texto tan fácilmente. En mi caso, así como el equipo de Hive en Barquisimeto, tuvimos días muy ajetreados en estas últimas semanas, hubo un trabajo importante previo al evento y una logística que debía funcionar a la perfección, esta es mi experiencia como parte del equipo de Barquisimeto.

Nunca imaginé participar activamente en un evento de esta envergadura, la verdad es que los que me conocen saben que soy algo reservado; sin embargo, y así como lo he mencionado en muchas ocasiones, Hive me ha transformado y siento que es necesario el salir de la zona de confort y afrontar nuevos desafíos, este era un gran desafío para mí y para el equipo de Hivers Barquisimetanos.

Así como en toda organización de eventos, hubo momentos tensos, en lo particular sentía nervios de que todo saliera bien, en ocasiones no sentía apetito debido a los nervios previos al evento, no podía comer bien. El colocar a tiempo el stand con todos sus detalles, la logística, el protocolo que se iba a tener en el stand, muchos factores pequeños, pero qué sumados hacían un poco de presión en cada uno de nosotros.

Todos estos retos se afrontaron como la situación la ameritaba, estoy completamente convencido de que con este evento dejamos una huella en las personas, empresas e incluso algunos de los medios de comunicación regionales.

"Algo Bueno Tiene Hive"

Era hora del almuerzo, como siempre el ambiente en nuestra mesa era de una energía muy agradable, las risas y la alegría estaba dibujada en el rostro de todos los que en ese momento se disponían a comer el almuerzo. Uno de los influencers locales se acercó a nuestra mesa y dijo "algo bueno tiene Hive, las personas siempre están alegres, siempre sonriendo, algo muy bueno tiene esa comunidad", esa es la percepción de todos los que visitaban el salón de uno de los hoteles más importantes de nuestra región.

El valor de la Comunidad

Siempre he pensado que lo más importante es la comunidad que respalda un proyecto o como en este caso una blockchain, la energía era contagiosa, inspiradora para todos los que visitaban el stand, además, en los acercamientos con representantes de distintas empresas que participaban en el evento, tenían mucha curiosidad de esa misma energía.

Algunas personas a penas habían escuchado alguna vez la palabra blockchain, sin embargo, al llegar al stand ya se sentían parte de la blockchain, la energía y el amor de cada hiver en explicar lo que significa nuestra colmena era impresionante.

Hubo un amigo que está comenzando su carrera como reportero que me escribió, "¿qué rayos están haciendo ustedes que han captado la atención de los medios regionales? En ese grupo mencionan que en la Expo hay una blockchain que es la estrella del evento", posteriormente ese amigo me entrevistó mientras Zully realizaba su excelsa ponencia.

Esas palabras simplemente me llenaron en ese momento, sabía que estábamos haciendo un buen trabajo para captar la atención de todos, Hive era un stand distinto, con energía, con una propuesta de valor insuperable y con una comunidad que se robaba las miradas de todos en el recinto.

Nunca está de más el agradecerle a las personas que trabajaron para hacer realidad este evento que iluminó el rostro de muchos barquisimetanos, @valueplan además con el inmenso trabajo de @hivecreators que junto a nuestros invitados de otros estados del país completamos un gran equipo para dejar el nombre Hive plasmado en la mente de un gran número de personas y organizaciones.

¿Ahora qué viene?

Estoy acostumbrado a reseñar películas, así que evitaré los spoilers, por los momentos solo mencionaré que nuestro trabajo no terminó al momento en que cerraron las puertas del salón del hotel, nuestra labor continuará con el seguimiento a distintas personas y empresas con las que pudimos tener un acercamiento y una comunicación bastante positiva.

Se vendrán nuevas charlas y reuniones dentro de algunas de esas empresas e instituciones que mostraron mucho interés, sin embargo, ese plan estará un poco más detallado en un próximo post de @hiversbqto.

Debo decir que este evento nos otorga un importante impulso en la ciudad, desde nuestras capacidades, trataremos de dar lo mejor de nosotros para representar esta blockchain como se lo merece, por lo pronto, nos toca tomarnos algunos días para descansar y procesar la información.

Debo decir que desde que llegué a Hive en agosto de 2020, nunca había dejado de publicar por una semana completa, el post anterior a este ya tiene dos semanas, una desconexión necesaria para concentrarme plenamente en el que por ahora fue el evento más importante que ha participado Hive en esta ciudad, resalto la palabra "por ahora" porque estoy convencido de que el futuro es mucho más brillante.

Conclusión

Somos una gran colmena, es decir, un equipo que no conoce fronteras y todos somos responsables del crecimiento y el éxito que pueda tener Hive, gracias a toda la comunidad que estuvo pendiente del evento, por las redes sociales y mostrándonos ese caluroso apoyo tan importante, este ha sido un éxito de todos como comunidad.

Sigamos contrayendo y promoviendo esta blockchain, siempre con la gran energía que caracteriza a los hivers, aunque no lo parezca, las personas son muy receptivas a esa energía tan magnética que emana de nuestra comunidad, siento que en Barquisimeto, en Venezuela y en muchos otros países se vienen cosas muy buenas para Hive, disfrutemos el ser parte de todo esto y sintámonos orgullosos de ello.

To be honest, I have not found the right way to start writing this post, I have written and deleted several times this first paragraph, the truth is that describing the emotions that we have lived as a community in the #ExpoTecnoDigital is something simply inexplicable, it can not be captured in a text. In my case, as well as the Hive team in Barquisimeto, we had very busy days in these last weeks, there was an important work prior to the event and logistics that had to work perfectly, this is my experience as part of the Barquisimeto team.

I never imagined to actively participate in an event of this magnitude, the truth is that those who know me know that I am somewhat reserved; however, and as I have mentioned on many occasions, Hive has transformed me and I feel it is necessary to get out of the comfort zone and face new challenges, this was a great challenge for me and for the Hivers Barquisimetanos team.

As in any event organisation, there were tense moments, in particular I was nervous that everything would go well, sometimes I didn't feel hungry due to the nerves before the event, I couldn't eat well. Setting up the stand in time with all the details, the logistics, the protocol to be followed at the stand, many small factors, but which added up to a bit of pressure on each one of us.

All these challenges were faced as the situation warranted, I am completely convinced that with this event we left a mark on people, companies and even some of the regional media.

"Something Good Has Hive".

It was time for lunch, as always the atmosphere at our table was of a very pleasant energy, laughter and joy was drawn on the faces of all those who at that moment were preparing to eat lunch. One of the local influencers approached our table and said "something good has Hive, people are always happy, always smiling, something very good has that community", that is the perception of all those who visited the lounge of one of the most important hotels in our region.

The value of community

I have always thought that the most important thing is the community that supports a project or as in this case a blockchain, the energy was contagious, inspiring for everyone who visited the stand, in addition, in the approaches with representatives of different companies participating in the event, they were very curious about that same energy.

Some people had hardly ever heard the word blockchain, however, when they arrived at the booth they already felt part of the blockchain, the energy and love of each hiver in explaining what our hive is all about was impressive.

There was a friend who is just starting his career as a reporter who wrote to me, "what on earth are you guys doing that has caught the attention of the regional media? In that group they mention that there is a blockchain at the Expo that is the star of the event", and then that friend interviewed me while Zully was giving her excellent presentation.

Those words simply filled me at that moment, I knew we were doing a good job to capture everyone's attention, Hive was a different stand, with energy, with an unbeatable value proposition and with a community that stole the eyes of everyone in the venue.

It is never too much to thank the people who worked to make this event a reality, which illuminated the faces of many Barquisimetans, @valueplan also with the immense work of @hivecreators who together with our guests from other states of the country completed a great team to leave the name Hive in the minds of a large number of people and organisations.

What's next?

I am used to reviewing films, so I will avoid spoilers, for the moment I will just mention that our work did not end when the doors of the hotel hall closed, our work will continue with the follow up of different people and companies with whom we were able to have an approach and a very positive communication.

There will be new talks and meetings within some of those companies and institutions that showed a lot of interest, however, that plan will be a little more detailed in a future post of @hiversbqto.

I must say that this event gives us an important boost in the city, from our capabilities, we will try to give the best of us to represent this blockchain as it deserves, for now, we have to take a few days to rest and process the information.

I must say that since I arrived at Hive in August 2020, I had never stopped publishing for a full week, the previous post to this one is already two weeks old, a necessary disconnection to fully concentrate on what for now was the most important event that Hive has participated in this city, I highlight the word "for now" because I am convinced that the future is much brighter.

Conclusion

We are a great hive, that is, a team that knows no borders and we are all responsible for the growth and success that Hive can have, thanks to the whole community that was aware of the event, through social networks and showing us that warm support so important, this has been a success of all of us as a community.

Let's continue contracting and promoting this blockchain, always with the great energy that characterizes the hivers, although it may not seem so, people are very receptive to that magnetic energy that emanates from our community, I feel that in Barquisimeto, in Venezuela and in many other countries very good things are coming for Hive, let's enjoy being part of all this and let's feel proud of it.
