Good day Hivers!
Another day, and another set of people who were blessed to hear the facts about the hive. Since day one of Sharing Hive, honestly, I'm always excited! Why? I've been delighted to meet new faces and make them new friends as well as learn this Blockchain is a great help to everyone as it is different from any other platform. As I always share, we will never remain here, we have to exceed our limitations when we enter the Web3 space.
Creating connections to people face to face or online, is one of our goals. December 8, 2023, Friday was our latest Hive Orientation and OCD Onboarding Program held at Caduawan Elementary School.
We arrived at the venue as early as 8:49. Thanks to @lovinglymers and her teacher-bloggers who hosted this event. They were hands-on in preparing everything from last Friday's orientation. When we entered the room, there were already attendees who came early and gave themselves comfort by drinking some coffee. I was invited by @lovinglymers to get some of them but I already ate my breakfast as well as my coffee 😉.
As soon as the participants filled the room, @indayclara prepared herself for a great discussion. @callmesmile led the opening prayer as people needed to hear those words coming from the heart. @indayclara enthusiastically welcomes all the people and it's amazingly wonderful as our attendance goes beyond 20, I think 30-plus people were there! A mix of Principals, workers, and students.
A short introduction of oneself. I can feel the eagerness of the participants as they have stated their likes and hobbies. There are a lot of communities that suit their interest. We, the onboarders, introduced ourselves so the attendees know us and can testify to how long we've been in the hive.
After everybody shared their field, Inday was able to share her experience in the hive. How it became her refuge after being a resigned worker as an Engineer to a certain company. She was able to travel at her own expense through the hive. Learning new things and experiencing the fullest of her life.
@callmesmile tackled the PEAKD Interface. What should we see in our account and its features. I believe that people grasp some ideas since they already have an idea with this platform shared by other hivers.
After everything was discussed, Indayclara added some points. Whenever we choose a community, we have to read their rules. Every community has its own rules. There are a lot of communities that suit our interests so we'll keep exploring.
While listening to our speaker, we were served something to eat, like Indian mango, turon, fried banana sparkled with white sugar, and cooked peanuts.
After explaining everything about the hive. Inday was able to discuss the curation. The curation payout with take seven days after the blog. It will be divided into two for the curators and the author. And another division goes to the author's HP and HBD. One has to understand this whenever he or she starts his/her journey to the hive.
The next topic was how to make an introduction blog. This is the first thing that a newbie has to write. A newbie has to write about his/herself, likes, hobbies, and the like. There were some points to remember in order to be curated. Like original content only, no plagiarism, no spamming, and others. I guess participants were able to get all that information for their future reference. I always attend the orientation but every time I attend, I always get some ideas which we have to bear in mind as well.
After all the discussion Indayclara gave ample time for the attendees to ask questions. There were tricky questions asked. However, indayclara was able to answer all those with confidence. She was asked by the attendees if this would be the main orientation. And it's definitely YES! OCD Program has its goal. One has to be observed for three to four months in the hive. That's a way of helping them to grow and establish our names in the community and that's the advantage if we are under the OCD Program.
After everyone's queries had been answered, we had a photo opportunity with our mentor.
Invites of @heyitsjian. A group of students, workers, and teachers.
Invites of @dehai from San Remegio. A group of teachers, and students.
Invites of @lovingmers. A group of Principals, and teachers.
My only invite was finally here. Check him out @restlessadvntr.
We couldn't even fit on the frame! We are complete in this photo however other attendees weren't captured due to the space! This was our biggest population since the day of sharing the hive.
It's Lunch Time!
We had a sumptuous lunch at that time. Big thanks to Ma'am @lovinglymers who wholeheartedly embraced all the attendees, and made sure that everyone ate snacks and lunch.
The friendship we created online goes beyond measure. This platform witnessed how our friendship grew through time.
That's all for last Friday's orientation. Bye😉
