It in so much eagerness and excitement when I learned that we will be having another Hive orientation at my hometown, Caduawan, Tabogon, Northern Cebu, Philippines.
I have been in Hive for a few months now and to tell you honestly, this is my first time to join an actual orientation with my co-Hivers. I am working in Cebu City and everytime they conduct an orientation, it just does not fit my schedule so I will always be unavailable to join.
♡July 24,2023♡
This was the night when @naymhapz introduced me to the world of Hive. My mother @missbebeth was the first one to join because our onboarders had an orientation that I missed, as usual. She told me to join as well but I did not at first because she did not have that enough convincing powers. I did not understand the whole thing. So I was lucky enough that I got the chance to get a one on one orientation with my onboarder, @naymhapz on this night of the 24th of July,2023. She perfectly explained to me what Hive was all about and she made me understood all the goodness this platform has and it made me want to join.
On the 29th of July, 2023, I wrote my introblog. I knew it was a good start and since then, I wrote more and more blogs, about my daily life, my work and travel, my experiences as a mother, and so much more. Hive is the perfect platform I found to express my thoughts and feelings. Why have I known Hive just now?
Regardless of not being able to join the Hive orientations we had at various places already due to my hectic schedule at work, I am thrilled that finally, today, DECEMBER 8,2023 I am able to join today’s orientation. My off at work is Thursday and Friday and I am glad that the orientation today fell on a Friday. I am truly able to join today.
I have met some of my co-Hivers and I could not wait to meet all of the others!

♡November 29,2023♡
This was during my son’s 9th birthday when we gathered to celebrate and I was so happy to have all of my co-Hivers who were my neighbors, and closed friends and family.
And today, December 8,2023, I could not wait to meet my other co-Hivers and soon to be co-Hivers. It is undeniable that here in Caduawan, Tabogon, Northern Cebu, Philippines we are indeed a growing Hive community!
Trust me when I tell you we are such a growing community here at Hive, I invited these two beautiful ladies, my cousin from Minglanilla, Southern part of Cebu City, Philippines, who brought her cousin at her’s father’s side as well to join today’s Hive orientation. Imagine the distance they travelled from Southern Cebu to Northern Cebu just to join today’s orientation! I am so much thrilled and excited for them to learn about Hive.

From the left is my mother, @missbebeth, my cousin’s cousin in the middle, and my cousin, Shiena. They both came from the beautiful city of Minglanilla located in the Southern part of Cebu City, Philippines and they traveled hours to join the orientation today. I love the enthusiasm!
Today’s Hive orientation will be held at Caduawan Elementary School, Caduawan, Tabogon, Northern Cebu, Philippines.
Caduawan Elementary School - Caduawan, Tabogon, Cebu
I was happy when I came in because I saw my invite, she was so early. She is a teacher from San Remigio National High School and I have known her during the Barangay and SK Election at Mabuli Elementary School where we both served during the election. I introduced her to Hive and she got interested.
I then went to the kitchen to help out. Today’s orientation is held at the Home Economics Office at Caduawan Elementary School.
The teachers are so busy preparing for everyone’s foods for the Hive orientation later.

@simplybil and my invite Ma’am Miralles
At exactly 9:30 am, everyone was gathered and it was about time to begin the orientation.
The Hive orientated started and ma’am @callmesmile started the orientation with introducing herself and our facilitator for today, ma’am @indayclara .
We started with introducing ourselves, sharing to everyone how long we have been in Hive and how much we have withdrawn from our blog incomes. For the newbies, they were asked what we're their hobbies and likes. I am so thrilled to see a lot of new faces indeed.
Today’s venue is in Caduawan Elementary School and this is ma’am @lovinglymers the school principal, she is a Hiver as well and she initiated today’s Hive orientation and hosted this event. Ma’am @lovinglymers prepared the venue and all the foods and snacks for everyone.
Here are the other Hive friends who came to join us for the orientation today.
It was great learning everyone’s passion and I was thrilled to see all new faces. Most of the attendees for today’s orientation are teachers and students.
@indayclara , our facilitator, started the orientation by giving everyone a background about what Hive is. She explained what Hive is and how it works and we indeed learned a lot from her. She shared her background and life stories and how Hive changed her life. She is indeed a living Hive legend and is truly an inspiration to everyone.
@indayclara shared her Hive earnings in total after five months which is $2,185 or ₱109,250.00. Wow! What an inspiration indeed.
We started with the Basics of Hive.
The discussion by @indayclara is very knowledgeable indeed. She opened our minds to what Hive is. I have been with Hive for a few months but today I realized there is more to learn and more things to discover.
@callmesmile then discussed the Peak D interface. She discussed how it is to write a draft and a blog. She discussed all the communities in Hive available and the do’s and don't when publishing a blog.
@indayclara then discussed the parts of the blog, she mentioned how important it is to choose the right photo for the thumbnail cover photo to attract more readers, how a blog content is very important and always highlight the value of quality over quantity. She also focused on the importance of engaging, commenting, reblogging and upvoting. Things we really have to keep on mind when blogging. Thank you for the reminders, @indayclara !
Let us skip to the good part! Who does not want to know how the income goes, right? @indayclara explained the Reward System.
For sure, after hearing about the Reward System, everyone will indeed be encouraged to write more blogs. This is one thing I love about writing blogs here in Peak D, you may be able to express your thoughts and opinions, share to the world your life events and happenings, but the best part is, you earn! Who says no to that, right?
@indayclara then discussed the OCD Onboarding Program which is a bunch of people who helped us pave our way toward Hive.
Being under the OCD Onboarding Program has been such a great help to all of us, we have mentors who helped us all throughout. No words could suffice the amount of gratefulness I have towards these amazing people like my onboarder @naymhapz , @indayclara and @ybanezkim26 .
Here is my onboarder ma’am @naymhapz discussing about what happens once you graduate the OCD Onboarding Program. She highlighted the importance of never giving up writing more and more blogs.
It was such a knowledgeable discussion with @indayclara, @callmesmile
@naymhapz. We indeed learned a lot!
Here are the snippets of the Hive Orientation we had today 12/08/2023.

My invites, thank you all for coming!
We then had lunch, prepared by Caduawan Elementary School principal ma’am @lovinglymers . Thank you so much ma’am!
What a productive day we all had. We all learned so much today and we will surely learn more in the long run. Thank you so much to everyone who made this event successful. Looking forward for more Hivers to join us soon. Ciao!☺︎♡
