Particularmente, no concibo un mundo en el que no exista Hive y si existan las criptos. Es decir, si no existe Hive, pero si existen las criptos, eventualmente otra plataforma blockchain similar a #Hive surgiría (ese sería otro "Hive", con otro nombre por supuesto).
Es por ello que de mi imaginación surge un relato que podría retratar ese escenario hipotético... ¡Espero que lo disfrutes!

Aún recuerdo cuando en el año 2007 la policía de Alemania puso bajo arresto a un grupo de personas que intentaban utilizar el internet para crear su propia "moneda digital". ¿Quienes se creían estas personas? Las leyes claramente dicen que eso es ilegal, no puedes meterte con el dinero del Estado. Desde entonces, los gobiernos de todo el mundo han estado muy atentos a este tipo de cosas. La crisis financiera hizo que otros "grupos de locos" intentaran hacer lo mismoa través de los años, pero la policía los ha atrapado a todos con las manos en la masa. Quien sabe qué clase de locuras hubieran sucedido en el mundo si hubieran tenido éxito.
En fin, estamos en el año 2022 y los principales Bancos Centrales del mundo dicen que todo irá mejor porque han elevado las tasas de interés. No entiendo nada de lo que dicen, pero ¡Así es que debe manejarse la economía! debe estar controlada por gente que sabe lo que hace y no por el azar o por "locos del internet".
Trabajo como ingeniero en una oficina de cálculos estructurales, no tengo un sueldo impresionante, pero no me puedo quejar. Debo levantarme muy temprano para estar a las 7 en la oficina, y salir de allí a las 5 de la tarde. Esta ha sido mi participación en la iniciativa, con un relato fantasioso de mi vida si ni #Hive ni las criptomonedas hubieran existido. Creo que sería una representación aproximada de lo que mi vida podría haber sido, no solo sin Hive sino quizás también sin la crisis que atraviesa Venezuela desde hace años. La crisis nos impulsó a acercarnos a las criptos, y ello nos impulsó a conocer a Hive.
Es un relato de ficción, no es mi intención despreciar a todo aquel que trabaje en una oficina ya sea de ingeniero o de cualquier otra cosa. Lo que quise reflejar en el relato es que sino fuera por la crisis que atraviesa el país o por las criptos, quizás hubiera terminado en un empleo mediocre y una vida mediocre. Quizás no hubiera surgido en mi el deseo de conocer, aprender y leer sobre muchas cosas.

Es por ello que escribí tantos "debo" en el relato, y ser "eficiente" en lugar de efectivo.

Crises are times to learn and grow. #Hive has been an impulse to discover myself and develop creative aspects that I never imagined I had. Besides, in such a hypothetical present, not everything would be only negative, there would surely be some positive things. But the impact #Hive has had on my life has made imagining a life without this blockchain was to imagine a life less "free" in many ways. That's why I wrote so many "must" in the story, and be "efficient" instead of effective.
