Lo anterior se debe a que pensaba hacer un video o postcad, para exponer mejor mis criterios, pero, la crisis energética del país y los graves problemas de conexión me han impedido tal empresa. Estuve a punto de dejarlo todo porque en estos dos años ha sido la publicación para la que me preparé mejor, pero, mi esposa y mis hermanos me convencieron de hacer el trabajo de la manera tradicional.
Disculpen tantos lamentos y vamos a lo que vinimos.
Hoy comienza la Serie Mundial del 2024 y se miden dos de los mejores equipos de las Grandes Ligas del béisbol de los Estados Unidos (MLB) y, como es costumbre traigo mi análisis previo, sobre lo que pienso deba ocurrir en una batalla que ojalá llegue a siete encuentros, pero, aunque termine en 4, 5 o seis juegos tendrá emociones por millones y será una guerra en la que los dos equipos intentarán ganar el campeonato.
En este trabajo haré un análisis sobre las diferentes posiciones, diferentes áreas del juego, peloteros que deben destacar, daré a conocer mi favorito y otros elementos que considero de interés.
Radiografía de los dos equipos
Ambos equipos tienen peloteros que son de los mejores del mundo, de eso no hay dudas, pero, hay áreas claves que cada equipo debe tener en cuenta a la hora de cumplir un objetivo como este.
A continuación, veamos algunas de ellas:
Línea central
Esto es vital para que un equipo pueda ganar. Como explicó @fermionico en una ocasión, la línea central está formada por el receptor, el pitcher, el short stop y la segunda base.
En una comparación entre los dos equipos, quien escribe considera que la línea central de los Yankees es superior, sobre todo, por el buen trabajo del receptor Austin Wells, que fue uno de los mejores de toda la gran carpa. A pesar de lo anterior, esta es una final y el hecho de ser un receptor novato puede jugarle una mala pasada.

Cuando se revisan las estadísticas, me inclino por los Yankees, a pesar del letargo del “Juez”, quien en postemporada no acaba de destacarse. Sin embargo, tienen a Juan Soto, que está en modo imparable y, este 25 de octubre, estará cumpliendo 26 años. Me inclino por los Yankees.
Ofensiva
Los dos equipos tienen una ofensiva feroz. Defensa
Este es otro elemento vital, para poder aspirar a la victoria, porque muchas veces, cuando los lanzadores hacen salidas de calidad y la ofensiva es dominada, el equipo que tenga mejor defensa tiene altas probabilidades de llevarse la victoria.
En un análisis realizado posición por posición y tomando el desempeño defensivo de ambos equipos los Dogers de los Ángeles fueron mejores.
Lanzadores
En este aspecto vital para ambos equipos se presenta un panorama singular, pues, los Yankees de Nueva York tienen una ventaja en cuanto al cuerpo de abridores, con Gerrit Cole a la cabeza, pero, a juicio del autor, el bullpen de los Dogers de los Ángeles fue superior y, en gran medida, lograron asegurar la presencia de su equipo en la fase final.
