Tras la hórrida puesta en escena en Montilivi, el Real Madrid se ha redimido ante un Almería de rotaciones; los de Ancelotti se gustaron en un partido en el que el rival resintió mucho la ausencia de varios de sus estelares y, por ende no supo ofrecer resistencia alguna a un Madrid que le puso inspiración y arte a sus fútbol en el Teatro de la Castellana. Seis cambios hizo Carletto con respecto al once del desastre en Girona y aquella revolución vio un dulce resultado a un encuentro liguero que era casi de trámite pues, para los Merengues, pensar en el título es una falsa quimera.
Esa media docena de cambios de Ancelotti se quedó corta comparada con las ocho sustituciones de Rubi con respecto al triunfo Almeriense en el Coliseum ante el Getafe. La afición Blanca merecía una disculpa de su equipo tras el estrepitoso desaguisado de Montilivi y el equipo extendió sus disculpas con un fútbol disfrutable y varios lances pintorescos que sacaron suspiros al graderío.
After the horrendous display at Montilivi, Real Madrid redeemed themselves against an Almeria side with rotations; Ancelotti's men enjoyed themselves in a game in which their opponents were greatly affected by the absence of several of their star players and, as a result, were unable to offer any resistance to a Madrid side who put inspiration and art into their football at the Teatro de la Castellana. Carletto made six changes from the eleven from the disaster in Girona and that revolution saw a sweet result to a league game that was almost a formality because, for Los Merengues, thinking about the title is a false chimera.
Ancelotti's half-dozen changes fell short of Rubi's eight substitutions from the Almeria win at the Coliseum against Getafe. The Blancos fans deserved an apology from their team after the shambles at Montilivi and the team extended their apology with some enjoyable football and a number of picturesque moves that drew gasps from the stands.

No tardaron los de Ancelotti en arrancar con su recital de buen fútbol ofensivo y hacer caja de ello, pues al minuto 5, Viniucis se encargó de poner el desequilibrio, rompiendo a Mendes por el camino, y servir una pelota en bandeja de plata para que Karim Benzema abriese la cuenta en la Casa Blanca. 1-0 tempranero que servía como aperitivo de lo que estaba por venir en el Bernabéu.
El valor de Vinicius es incalculable y también lo es la magia que ostenta Rodrygo en sus botines; tras un pase de Lucas Vázquez por sector derecho, el carioca ha efectuado un acto increíble acto de escapismo a manera de un autopase hechicero que embrujó a la grada del Teatro de la Castellana al completo para, acto seguido, servir lo que representaba el doblete de Benzema y el 2-0 en tan solo 17 minutos de hostilidades.
Al minuto 41’ Lucas Vázquez, que fue sumamente incisivo por derecha, fue derribado dentro del área por Ramazani y el encargado de facturar aquello sería -¿quién sino?- Karim Benzema, que marcaba su tercer hat-trick del mes de abril para sumar 21 goles en los 24 partidos que ha disputado vestido de blanco en lo que va de 2023. Pero los de Ancelotti volvieron pecar de blandos en zona baja y el Almería aprovechó aquello para firmar un nuevo tanto que le quitaba cierto nivel de escándalo al marcador; apenas rebasada la hora de juego, nadie vestido de blanco marcó a Robertone en área y este aprovechó para rematar con un testarazo inmejorable el centro de Portillo para firmar el 4-2.
Siguió el concierto de fútbol ofensivo por parte del conjunto Merengue, pero los goles no llegaron gracias a la madera o a posiciones antirreglamentarias de parte de los pupilos de Ancelotti por lo que el marcador no se movió más. El Real Madrid tiene por delante la visita a la Real Sociedad en Anoeta para luego, el próximo sábado, medirse a Osasuna por el título de la Copa del Rey y, acto seguido, encarar la ida de las semifinales de la UEFA Champions League ante el Manchester City. Se velan armas en Chamartín porque las semanas venideras son vitales para el cuadro Blanco.
But Ancelotti's men were again too soft down low and Almeria took advantage of that to score another goal that took some of the scandal off the scoreboard; just after the hour mark, nobody in white marked Robertone in the box and he took advantage to finish off Portillo's cross with an unbeatable header to make it 4-2.
The Merengues continued to play attacking football, but the goals didn't come thanks to the woodwork or illegal positions on the part of Ancelotti's men, so the scoreboard didn't move any further. Real Madrid now face a trip to Real Sociedad at Anoeta before next Saturday's Copa del Rey title decider against Osasuna, followed by the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals against Manchester City. The coming weeks will be vital for Real Madrid.
