El arranque de la jornada 18 de la Serie A nos llevaba al Estadio Diego Armando Maradona para el que era, sin duda, el partido más importante del fin de semana en Italia. El encuentro de hoy pintaba para ser peleado, parejo, con una Juve que se jugaba el recortar distancias sí conseguía los tres puntos en su visita al sur de Italia.

Lejos, muy lejos se quedaron los de Allegri de siquiera pensar en los tres puntos, el Napoli entregó una puesta en escena que puede representar la actuación más ilusionante de la historia del Club desde la partida de Diego Armando Maradona. Uno se tiene que remontar a la temporada 1989/90 para encontrar la última ocasión en que el Napoli consiguió un Scudetto, “el Pelusa” aún formaba parte de sus filas; de hecho el conjunto napolitano solo ha conseguido dos títulos de Serie A y en ambos estuvo presente el 10 argentino.
La Juve, que llegaba con 7 puntos menos que el Napoli -empatada en unidades con el Milán- y que arrastraba 8 triunfos en fila sin haber recibido un solo gol, terminó estrellándose con un brillante Napoli que solo tiene una cosa en mente, trascender y ser campeón en el presente torneo. Los Partenopei se plantaron en el campo de batalla sin miedo a perder y con la certeza absoluta de salir con una diferencia de 10 puntos sobre uno de los escoltas que quieren amenazar su sueño de gloria; el resultado de dicho convencimiento ha sido una goleada histórica sobre el conjunto turinés.

Muy mal le salió el planteamiento inicial a Allegri que buscaba sorprender a Spalletti con un 3-5-2 con Milik y Di Maria en el frente de ataque pero con Chiesa haciendo tareas defensivas buscando frentar a Kvaratskhelia; la Juve ni sorprendió ni pudo frenar al georgiano que, junto a Víctor Osimhen, encabezó la brillante actuación de su equipo. Al minuto 14, Szczesny le tapó un acrobático remate de tijera a “Kvaradona” para que el nigeriano Osimhen empujase el gol de la ventaja con un oportuno y efectivo cabezazo.
Al minuto 39’ el Napoli volvió a la carga y encontró una cortesía de Bremer que midió pésimo un balón a profundidad y lo dejó a merced de Osimhen, el nigeriano vio absolutamente solo a Kvaratskhelia y le sirvió en bandeja una pelota inmejorable para que rubircara el 2-0 con su educada pierna diestra; pero sobre el minuto 42’ un rebote ayudó a que Di María armase una pared con Milik para facturar el descuento y poner el marcador 2-1 de cara al descanso.
Allegri's initial approach went badly wrong as he sought to surprise Spalletti with a 3-5-2 with Milik and Di Maria up front but with Chiesa doing defensive duties looking to stop Kvaratskhelia; Juve neither surprised nor were they able to stop the Georgian who, along with Victor Osimhen, led his team's brilliant performance. In the 14th minute, Szczesny blocked an acrobatic scissor-kick from "Kvaradona" for the Nigerian Osimhen to push home the lead with a timely and effective header.
In the 39th minute Napoli were back on the attack and found one courtesy of Bremer who misjudged a through ball and left it at the mercy of Osimhen, the Nigerian saw Kvaratskhelia all alone and set him up with an unbeatable ball for him to curl home with his polite right foot; but on 42 minutes a rebound helped Di Maria to set up Milik for the equaliser and make the score 2-1 going into the break.

El gol de Di María fue la última manifestación de signos vitales en el equipo de Allegri que en la segunda mitad fue avasallado por los locales. El Napoli fue un vendaval de fútbol en el complemento, vendaval irrefrenable para la Juve y para cualquier otra oncena que se plantase enfrente. Al 55’, “Kvara” botó el córner desde la derecha, la pelota viajó y encontró a Rrahmani que la mandó a besar las redes del arco juventino y tan solo 10 minutos después, los napolitanos volvían a encontrar puerta; Mario Rui hizo buena la presión alta, el balón cayó en los pies de Kvaratskhelia que volvía a asistir a Osimhen que se levantó entre Kostic y Alex Sandro para firmar su doblete con la testa. 4-1 lo ganaba el Napoli.
Y como cuatro no eran suficientes, no hubo quinto malo para los de Spalletti; al minuto 72’ Giovanni Di Lorenzo jugó con Elmas que subía por el andarivel derecho como una exhalación, el macedonio recortó a Kostic para generarse espacio, remató de zurda y con la ayuda del desvió de Alex Sandro firmó el 5-1 definitivo. El Napoli duerme más líder que nunca en la Serie A tras haber asestado un durísimo golpe de realidad a la Vecchia Signora.
Di Maria's goal was the last sign of life in Allegri's side, who were overwhelmed by the home side in the second half. Napoli were a gale of football in the second half, an unstoppable gale for Juve and for any other team that came up against them. At 55', "Kvara" took a corner from the right, the ball travelled and found Rrahmani who sent it into the Juventus net and just 10 minutes later, the Neapolitans found the net again; Mario Rui made good the high pressure, the ball fell to the feet of Kvaratskhelia who again assisted Osimhen who rose between Kostic and Alex Sandro to sign his double with his head. 4-1 Napoli won it.
And as four goals were not enough, there was no a bad fifth one for Spalletti's side; in the 72nd minute Giovanni Di Lorenzo played with Elmas who was coming up the right flank like an exhalation, the Macedonian cut back to Kostic to create space for himself, he shot with his left foot and with the help of Alex Sandro's deflection signed the definitive 5-1. Napoli sleep better than ever at the top of Serie A after dealing a huge blow to La Vecchia Signora.
