Alguna vez oí a mi padre, que era el entrenador del equipo en que jugaba cuando niño -y esa historia da para mucho, aunque no sea esta la ocasión-, decir tras un partido que perdimos que: “Hay derrotas que llegan a tiempo, derrotas que forjan equipos campeones”; una frase que como “párvulo” no alcancé a dimensionar, pero tiempo después comprendí y que al ver a este Real Madrid, tras lo acontecido en el Metropolitano ante el Atleti, cobra más sentido que nunca. Ya lo decía Ancelotti en la sala de prensa tras aquel infausto Derbi, “es una derrota muy dolorosa, pero no define las capacidades de este magnífico grupo de jugadores”, buscando blindar a sus muchachos del escarnio tras la derrota. Los Blancos se lamieron las heridas y gozan de una salud futbolística incluso mejor que la que tenían previo al Derbi.
Tras un vibrante duelo de UEFA Champions League en el Estadio Diego Armando Maradona de Napoli, los de Ancelotti volvían debían afrontar su quehaceres en LaLiga previo al parón por Fecha FIFA ante un siempre complejo y aguerrido Osasuna que venía de haber conseguido una victoria ante el Alavés en Mendizorroza; no bastó la motivación, a los de Jagoba Arrasate -que cumplía su sanción desde la grada-, de haber ganado a media semana para hacer frente al puño de Hierro del Real Madrid. El estratega guipuzcoano quiso formar con su 4-3-3 habitual que ha visto apenas un par de cambios respecto a los nombres que cosecharon los balsámicos tres puntos en Mendizorroza.

After a pulsating UEFA Champions League clash at the Estadio Diego Armando Maradona in Napoli, Ancelotti's side were back to their LaLiga duties ahead of the FIFA World Cup break against a tough Osasuna side coming off the back of a win over Alavés at Mendizorroza; Jagoba Arrasate's side - who were serving their suspension from the stands - were not motivated enough by the midweek win to face Real Madrid's Iron Fist. The Guipuzcoan tactician opted for his usual 4-3-3 formation, which saw just a couple of changes from the names that picked up the balsamic three points at Mendizorroza.

Ancelotti por su parte, obligado por las lesiones que aquejan a su oncena -sobre todo en la línea defensiva- volvió a hacer las veces de alquimista -ya lo hace a menudo poniendo a Camavinga como lateral izquierdo- y plantó a Aurelien Tchouameni como defensor central junto a “Toni” Rüdiger con Carvajal y Mendy complementando la zaga por los flancos; Valverde, Modric y Camavinga por detrás del lírico -y siempre libre en el esquema- Bellingham y en punta Vinicius y Joselu en ese 4-3-1-2 que Carlo instauró tras la salida de Benzema y la llegada de Jude.
El ver a Jude Bellingham enfundado en la casaca del Real Madrid está siendo un deleite absoluto partido sí y partido también, talento y desparpajo veinteañero con la personalidad de un veterano de mil batallas, el inglés no ha requerido periodo de adaptación alguno y, desde que llegó a Chamartín, solo hace lo que mejor sabe hacer, brillar mientras disfruta con una pelota en los pies y nos hace disfrutar al resto con verle hacerlo. Si no lo viéramos jugar como lo hace partido a partido, costaría pensar que en un chico de 20 años exista tanta suficiencia dominante; para cada pregunta, Jude tiene una respuesta, es físicamente portentoso, técnicamente envidiable y tácticamente responsable, además de saber a la perfección lo que el juego pide de él en cada zona del terreno de juego que pisa.

Watching Jude Bellingham in the Real Madrid shirt has been an absolute delight, game after game, talent and talent of a twenty-year-old with the personality of a veteran of a thousand battles, the Englishman has not required any adaptation period and, since arriving at Chamartín, he has only done what he does best, shining while enjoying the ball at his feet and making the rest of us enjoy watching him do it. If we didn't see him play the way he does match after match, it would be hard to believe that in a 20 year old there is so much dominant sufficiency; for every question, Jude has an answer, he is physically gifted, technically enviable and tactically responsible, as well as knowing perfectly what the game asks of him in every area of the pitch he steps on.
Ya es una costumbre ver a Jude Victor Williaam Bellingham abrirse de brazos ante su feligresía a manera de una crucifixión en la que estuviera a punto de levitar, no lo verán nuestros ojos porque, aunque no lo parezca, el mozalbete de Stourbridge con la personalidad de un señor y las cualidades que pocos pueden reunir dentro de un terreno de juego… ¡Es humano! Aunque dentro del terreno de juego parezca que ha venido de otra galaxia y no de una pequeña localidad en Inglaterra que apenas rebasa los 60,000 habitantes. Al minuto 9’, Jude lo hizo de nuevo… ¿Sorprende? a estas alturas no hay sorpresa en ello, solo admiración; una pelota en profundidad dibujada con gracia por Luka Modric para Dani Carvajal que descargó en Jude que buscó el espacio para que su pierna zurda abrira la lata al tiempo que marcaba su noveno gol en lo que va de temporada, el séptimo por LaLiga.
Transcurrió el resto del primer tiempo en una tensa calma en la que el Real Madrid amasó un 67% de posesión con 92% de efectividad en las entregas de balón, pero fue incapaz de llevarse un marcador más abultado al vestuario pues solamente remató dos veces en los primeros 45 minutos y el único disparo al arco fue aquel del gol de “Belli”, como ya le llama cariñosamente algún sector del Madridismo. ¿Quién más habría de aparecer para romper aquella tensa calma sino Jude? Al minuto 54’ el “chico maravilla” inglés, montó una pared perfecta con Fede Valverde y batió a Sergio Herrera por en medio de sus piernas. 2-0 el Madrid y sí, de nuevo brazos abiertos para Bellingham.

He is human! Even if on the pitch he looks like he has come from another galaxy and not from a small town in England with a population of just over 60,000. In the 9th minute, Jude did it again... Surprising? at this stage there is no surprise in that, only admiration; a deep ball gracefully played by Luka Modric to Dani Carvajal who unloaded to Jude who found space for his left foot to open the scoring as he scored his ninth goal so far this season, his seventh in LaLiga.
The rest of the first half passed in a tense stalemate in which Real Madrid amassed 67% possession with a 92% efficiency in ball deliveries, but were unable to take a bigger scoreline into the dressing room as they only shot twice in the first 45 minutes and the only shot on target was that of "Belli", as he is now affectionately known to some sections of Madridismo. Who else would appear to break that tense stalemate but Jude? In the 54th minute, the English wonderkid set up a perfect one-two with Fede Valverde and beat Sergio Herrera through the middle of his legs. 2-0 Madrid and yes, open arms again for Bellingham.

Rebasada la hora de juego, al minuto 65’ para ser precisos, el partido haría honor a uno de los que mejor lo estaban jugando junto a Bellingham, Vini Junior se apuntó a la fiesta tras un tremendo pase de Valverde al espacio largo,Vini sacó de la jugada a Sergio Herrera con una gambeta, marca de la casa, y definió a placer con el arco abierto para celebrar serena y señorialmente con el graderío del fondo sur del Santiago Bernabéu que le vitoreaba mientras el asentía con satisfacción pasmosa. 3-0 golpeaba el Madrid por obra de Vinicius Junior que, acto seguido, asisitió el gol de Juselu al minuto 70’ para poner la cuenta en 4-0: pudieron ser 5 para los Blancos y un doblete para Joselu desde el manchón, pero el delantero español dilapidó la oportunidad con cobro bastante mejorable que Sergio Herrera terminó por atajar.
Se va el Real Madrid al parón internacional ostentando contundencia, pues han convertido en gol cuatro de sus nueve remates entre los tres palos (19 remates totales). Joselu y Vinícius Junior se sumaron en el segundo tiempo a la fiesta de Bellingham, autor de un doblete que le reafirma en su posición como nuevo ídolo de la grada blanca… Jude Bellingham ha participado en la mitad de los goles que ha marcado el Real Madrid en lo que va de temporada por LaLiga (10/20) y suma 8 goles por la liga (10 en total) lo que representa la cifra más alta de un jugador de la Casa Blanca tras sus primeros ocho partidos en la competición desde Cristiano Ronaldo en 2009 (7); Jude va a ritmo de leyenda y ha llegado apenas hace un par de meses. Valverde imperial en la destrucción y creación de juego, Bellingham y Vini brillan con luz propia y el Real Madrid se ha pegado un placentero paseo otoñal sobre la Castellana.
After the hour mark, in the 65th minute to be precise, the match would honour one of the best players in the game along with Bellingham, Vini Junior joined the party after a tremendous pass from Valverde into long space, Vini took Sergio Herrera out of the play with a trademark dribble and scored with the goal gaping to celebrate serenely and majestically with the Santiago Bernabeu's south stand cheering him on as he nodded with astonishing satisfaction. 3-0 Madrid struck through Vinicius Junior, who then assisted Juselu's 70th minute goal to make it 4-0: it could have been five for Los Blancos and a brace for Joselu from the spot, but the Spanish striker squandered the chance with a much-improved shot that Sergio Herrera ended up saving.
Real Madrid go into the international break looking strong, having converted four of their nine shots on target (19 shots in total). Joselu and Vinícius Junior joined Bellingham in the second half as he scored a brace that reaffirmed his position as the new idol of the Real fans... Jude Bellingham has been involved in half of Real Madrid's goals in LaLiga so far this season (10/20) and has eight league goals to his name (10 in total), the highest tally by a Casa Blanca player after his first eight games in the competition since Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009 (7); Jude is on the pace of a legend and only arrived a couple of months ago. Valverde is imperial in his destruction and playmaking, Bellingham and Vini are shining brightly and Real Madrid have taken a pleasant autumnal stroll over the Castellana.
