El Clásico en la final de la Supercopa de España ha venido a confirmar lo que se venía comentando consistentemente en este espacio desde hace ya algún tiempo: “¡El Real Madrid de Carlo Ancelotti no anda!” Los Blancos han perdido las formas, extraviaron ese fútbol dominante efectivo y lleno de variantes para encarar las demandas que presentaban sus rivales y sortearlas con contundencia. En el King Fahd Stadium, el FC Barcelona ha acentuado la primera crisis en la segunda etapa de Carlo Ancelotti al mando del timón Merengue.

Xavi prescindió de un extremo para brindar mayor ensamble y peso a su medio campo, en esta capacidad de adaptación a las posibles amenazas del rival fue dónde empezó a ganarle el encuentro a Carlo Ancelotti que no movió nada en el aspecto táctico de su equipo, el 4-3-3 simple y llano que se ha venido atascando partido tras partido fue el que empleó en el arranque. ¿El resultado? El Madrid era un desastre en defensiva al que se sumaban la inoperancia del medio campo y por ende la incapacidad de conexión con un frente de ataque que parecía inofensivo. La cosa estaba 3-0 con 20 minutos por jugarse en los que no pasó nada sino hasta el añadido cuando Benzema encontró un infructuoso descuento para el 3-1 definitivo.
