Después de la pausa en la Premier League causada por los encuentros de selecciones nacionales, regresa la competencia en el mejor torneo de clubes de Europa, me refiero a la Premier League con un importante encuentro entre dos rivales de ciudad, el Derby Londinense entre el Tottenham Hotspurs y el Arsenal FC.
Los muchos Derbys de Londres son especiales porque cada club siente rivalidad fuerte, pasional, verdadera y eso significa que en la mayoría de las oportunidades, sin importar que tan distantes estén en la tabla clasificatoria, el encuentro será sumamente competitivo; esas características se han presentes en este primer Derby de esa ciudad cuando en el Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium, los "Spurs" deberían enfrentar a los "Gunners"; un encuentro en dónde sus protagonistas tienen un presente muy diferente, pero como dije anteriormente, eso no evita que el enfrentamiento fuese igualado por muchos minutos.

A pesar de contar con cuatro delanteros, el Arsenal supo tener cierto control del juego gracias a quienes se enfocaron en defender; desde el doble pivote conformado por Jorginho y Partey, hasta la línea de cuatro defensores en donde debo apuntar a Timber, lateral izquierdo, como uno de los más valiosos por su desempeño defensivo y ofensivo, así como la pareja de centrales, Magalhães y Saliba que junto a Raya, portero español que realizó hasta cinco atajadas en el juego, fueron en mi opinión los más valiosos del encuentro.

La táctica implementada por Arteta de defender y salir al contraataque no resultó, hubo mal juego por parte de algunos atacantes, poca conexión y por supuesto un fallo en la definición en las pocas jugadas de ataque creadas, pero si hubo una táctica que funcionó bien y fue en las jugadas a balón parado; justamente esto fue lo que más me llamó la atención en el Derby, creo que el entrenador del Tottenham, Ange Postecoglou, sabe del buen trabajo táctico de su rival y por eso en cada defensa del cobro de un córner rival, pensó en primeramente defender en zona con tres jugadores por delante del portero y el resto realizar marcación hombre a hombre, preferiblemente a Magalhães y Saliba; esto funcionó en la mayoría del tiempo de juego, pero en el minuto 64, un doble fallo de concentración, tanto en los jugadores en zona, como el de marcaje personal, permitió que el central brasileño cabeceara a placer para así anotar el único gol del encuentro.
El Arsenal a causa de bajas importantes y el estado físico de la mayoría de sus jugadores, decidió realizar un encuentro con mucho sacrificio, inteligente y paciente, justamente esas dos últimas características le proveyó una relevante victoria que los posiciona como el perseguidor inmediato del Manchester City; creo que en esta nueva temporada se puede repetir como las dos anteriores, el enfrentamiento de ambos entrenadores españoles y posiblemente el equipo Londinense haya aprendido de los errores.
