Y lo que todos esperábamos que pasara, pasó. No recuerdo cuando fue la última vez que vi a un equipo con un cartel de ganador tan grande como el del Real Madrid de hoy en día, quizá el Barcelona de "Pep", pero no fue por un tiempo tan prolongado y con tanto éxito en copas de Europa. Creo que todos dábamos ganador al equipo español, no habían dudas al respecto y no era por fanatismo, por la camiseta o por las diferencias históricas entre los rivales, sino que sencillamente el mismo aire daba indicios de que al Real Madrid no se le podía escapar ésta final.
¿Fue sencillo?, la verdad no, el Borussia Dortmund tuvo un primer tiempo soberbio, con ocasiones claras de gol que no fueron aprovechadas, el segundo tiempo tampoco fue malo, pero en ese sentido la poca efectividad empezó a cavar lentamente la tumba del equipo alemán ya que como bien hemos visto en los últimos años, al Real Madrid hay que matarlo y enterrarlo varias veces para estar totalmente seguros de que se les va a ganar, que no los engañé el aparente dominio que se pueda estar teniendo sobre ellos.
