Esta semana se jugaron los primeros partidos de la nueva UEFA Champions League, y digo nueva ya que como la mayoría debe saber, cambió de formato desde ésta temporada en adelante. En su momento ya había hablado de que tenía mucha incertidumbre respecto a los beneficios o desventajas que podría tener el aumentar el número de equipos, pero debo reconocer que en aquel momento tenía muchas dudas o desconocimiento en cuanto a como se desarrollaría el nuevo formato, solo tenía claro que habrían más equipos y que se jugarían más partidos.
This week the first matches of the new UEFA Champions League were played, and I say new because as most of you may know, the format has changed from this season onwards. At the time I had already talked about how I was very uncertain about the benefits or disadvantages of increasing the number of teams, but I must admit that at that time I had many doubts or ignorance as to how the new format would be developed, I was only clear that there would be more teams and more games would be played.
Ahora que está en práctica, pude entender con mayor facilidad de que van las cosas, todo parece estar más claro más allá de que personalmente aún tenga dudas, pero supongo que las resolveré con el pasar del tiempo o indagando un poco más al respecto.
