"El predestinado" o "El príncipe de Monza", así se le llama a Charles Leclerc dentro del equipo tifosi después de haber ganado, por segunda vez en carrera en la máxima categoría, en el gran premio de Italia y su mítico circuito de Monza. Para las fanáticos de Ferrari ganar acá es como si hubieran ganado el campeonato, automáticamente la gente del público se volcó a la pista para llenarla de color y celebrar una nueva victoria, la 21 en su historia, en lo pies del monegasco quien hay que decir hizo una extraordinaria carrera de autorregulación y gestión de neumáticos. Y es que fue tan así que NADIE se esperaba que esto pudiera pasar.

Esto lo digo habiendo visto lo de ayer: decisiones erradas de equipo, de los mismos pilotos y errores en pista que pueden costar una carrera. Ellos tienen algo llamado: "Papaya rules" que supongo serán los términos en los que pueden competir entre ellos en pista; ayer estas reglas, para mi, estuvieron mal implementadas.

¿Por qué? - pues porque McLaren tiene opciones muy reales de pelear por ambos campeonatos ya que en estos momentos tienen mejor carro que la Red Bull pero por mucho, estamos en un momento de la temporada en la que Verstappen está muy incómodo con su monoplaza, siempre hay una queja, parece que no hay ritmo, no responde como debería y esto amigos, pienso que es pasajero. Es por todo esto que McLaren debería de capitalizar este bajón y acercarse pero no lo están haciendo. Ayer Piastri no debió sobrepasar a Norris, esto lo que hizo fue descalabrar la carrera y el joven británico pasó de salir de primero a caer al tercer puesto. ¿Que Lando tiene que mejorar aspectos a la hora de su salida? - sin dudas y de hecho hay una estadística mortal que confirma esto.

Lando Norris a lo largo de su carrera ha salido 7 veces desde el liderato y las siete veces ha perdido la posición y ojo a esto EN LA PRIMERA VUELTA de las cuales 5 han sido esta temporada y de esas cinco 2 han sido contra Oscar Piastri. Esto sin dudas representa un problema porque algo pasa que no es capaz de mantener el control de las salidas. Y si a esto le sumamos que desde el equipo se alienta a que haya batalla entre ellos pues mal estamos. McLaren debe enfocarse en hacer ganar a Lando, el tiempo Piastri ya vendrá, tienen que aprovechar esta ventana de debilidad de los de Horner para escalar lo más que puedan. Entonces lo de ayer no fue más que mala gestión dentro del mismo equipo y que bueno, no nadie contaba con la velocidad de la Ferrari de Leclerc.

Pero hablando un poco de la carrera fue una muy buena la verdad. Muchas penalizaciones, muchas malas paradas en los pits y la forma en cómo se manejaba el uso de los neumáticos fue clave. Al final todos hicieron 3 paradas o la gran mayoría, el único que hizo 2 fue Leclerc y ahí estuvo la victoria. Un magnífico manejo de esa goma dura para poder terminar de líder y que además el ritmo de carrera de los Ferrari con respecto a la temporada pasada es bastante mejor, sobretodo en rectas, el carro es realmente rápido. Piastri con par de vueltas más hubiese dado caza al de Mónaco porque obviamente venía con un juego de cauchos nuevos pero no le llegó. Lando relegado a la tercera plaza porque todo lo que sucedió al principio.

Si me preguntan para mi fue una jornada lamentable para McLaren, salieron de 1-2 y no pudieron terminar así cosa que creo que debió ser la meta principal. Sainz de cuarto tras haber hecho también una gran carrera, Hamilton 5 y Verstappen 6. En otras noticias Colapinto, el joven argentino debutó y lo hizo perfectamente, en una carrera lo hizo mejor que Sargeant en toda la temporada. Magnussen volvió a ser penalizado y quedó baneado del próximo premio por acumulacion de puntos negativos en su licencia. La próxima carrera será en Bakú en dos semanas. Norris quedó a 62 puntos de Max y McLaren a tan solo 8 de Red Bull. Todo hubiese sido distinto si se hubiesen enfocado en lo dicho antes pero nada, a seguir remando.
If you ask me it was an unfortunate day for McLaren, they started from 1-2 and could not finish as well, which I think should have been the main goal. Sainz was fourth after a great race, Hamilton 5th and Verstappen 6th. In other news Colapinto, the young Argentinean made his debut and did it perfectly, in one race he did better than Sargeant in the whole season. Magnussen was penalized again and was banned from the next race due to accumulation of negative points on his license. The next race will be in Baku in two weeks. Norris was 62 points behind Max and McLaren was only 8 points behind Red Bull. Everything would have been different if they had focused on what was said before, but nothing, keep rowing.
