Pues acontece, que me volví a ir al estadio, pero esta vez a ver el juego entre Cardenales de Lara y los Leones del Caracas. Hace casi dos semanas yo fui al estadio a disfrutar de un interesante partido entre Cardenales y los Tigres de Aragua, del cual dejé una publicación en esta misma comunidad; sin embargo, el ambiente del estadio, aunque estuvo muy bueno, no fue el mismo de cuando el equipo contrario es Magallanes, Leones o incluso Caribes, ya que para nadie es un secreto que estos equipos poseen una gran fanaticada.

Almost two weeks ago I went to the stadium to enjoy an interesting game between Cardenales and Tigres de Aragua, of which I left a post in this same community; however, the atmosphere in the stadium, although it was very good, was not the same as when the opposing team is Magallanes, Leones or even Caribes, since it is no secret that these teams have a great fan base.

El día sábado hubo juego en casa, es decir, aquí en Barquisimeto contra los tigres el cual disfrute por televisión; pero el juego del domingo estaría muy bueno ya que Cardenales y Leones son los dos equipos que están más próximos a clasificar. Cabe destacar, que ya los Tiburones de La Guaira clasificaron a la gran final y ahora los otros cuatro equipos están en un duelo de todos contra todos.

Así que fui en la mañana a comprar las entradas y para mi sorpresa es que no encontré entradas hacia el lado izquierdo, por ende, tuve que comprar del lado de visitante, que para mi buena suerte estaba lleno de cardenaleros pero si había un buen número de fanáticos de los Leones del Caracas.

I was not wrong when I thought that. So I went in the morning to buy the tickets and to my surprise I did not find tickets to the left side, therefore, I had to buy the visitor's side, which to my good fortune was full of Cardenaleros but there were a good number of Leones del Caracas fans.
Llegamos al estadio a las 5 pm el juego era a las 6 pm, estuvimos más de una hora tratando de ingresar al estacionamiento del estadio Antonio Herrera Gutiérrez de Barquisimeto y cuando por fin entramos hasta nuestros puestos, el juego estaba iniciando el 2 inning, con una pizarra de 1-1. Ahora bien, es resaltante acotar, que los Leones del Caracas le tomaron el truco al pitcher abridor de cardenales y lograron hacer dos anotaciones más; sin embargo, el equipo larense no desmayo en ningún momento y poco a poco fue sumando una rayita en el marcador, específicamente en el segundo y cuarto episodio, colocando de esta manera un juego 3-3.

Otro aspecto que no puedo dejar de mencionar es el hecho del ambiente que se vivió en el estadio ese día, estaba la casa llena dando la impresión de un juego de final y con cada carrera que Cardenales anotaba la euforia de la gente aumentaba, gritos, trompetas, consignas y mucho más, eso fue lo que vivimos ese día… Tremendo juego.

Para el momento de esta publicación ya los tiburones clasificaron y a pesar de que el domingo 14 de enero Cardenales gano contra los Leones, el día lunes 15 de Enero cayeron ante el equipo capitalino con una pizarra de 3 carreras por 2. El día de ayer Cardenales venció a los tiburones de La Guaira 7 carreras por 2 pero los Leones del Caracas también vencieron a los tigres de Aragua con un marcador de 4-2, por lo que mantiene vivo al equipo melenudo y le retrasa la clasificación del equipo larense.
Now, how is the standings going? Para hoy Cardenales regresa a su nido, donde contara con todo el apoyo de su fanaticada, lo que se espera es que Cardenales derrote a Bravos de Margarita hoy y mañana. A pesar de que los Leones del Caracas que son el equipo que se encuentra a un juego de diferencia no tiene pautados encuentros para el día de hoy, lo que se quiere es que mañana caigan ante los Tigres de Aragua que ya se encuentra eliminado. En conclusión, hay una batalla entre Cardenales, Leones y Bravos donde la delantera la tiene Cardenales pero debe luchar por su puesto en la clasificación; no obstante se desea que gane el mejor.
